Finding a talented, professional and trustworthy auto mechanic can be at times be hard to come by. I have been lucky enough to find one in Jeff Thompson of Thompson's Automotive.
Jeff provides outstanding service as Jeff takes pride in the services that he offers. Jeff goes above and beyond to make sure your questions are answered. I would 100% recommend Thompson's Automotive to anyone who needs their auto repaired at a reasonable rate.
Jeff and Mary are truly amazing people, as are Jason, Mike, and Eric. I'm very grateful for the work done and insight given. You guys put my mind at ease and I wouldn't hesitate to have any and all future maintenance or repairs done here when I'm in town. I can't thank you enough!
Decided to try this shop over Smitty's in Harrington, and I'm entirely glad I did. Smitty's will not accept customer supplied parts. This shop doesn't discourage customers from bringing their own parts, and that's just the start of it. Dropped my car off the previous night before closing, and he started on it asap the next morning. Although we couldn't replace my exhaust and catalytic converters due to my mistake, he did inform me of several other issues I had no idea were there. The pricing is fantastic and greatly reflects the quality of the work provided here. If you're looking for a great shop that won't break your bank AND will take care of your car in a timely fashion, this is the shop to go to. I will 100000% be back. Thanks again!!
When I spoke to the one mechanic Jason I was so impressed however the owner tried to pull a fast one and after getting a second quote was charging me extra for little things. Apparently brakes aren’t apart of an inspection… after I questioned it he wouldn’t even talk to me just said sign this paper saying my car wasn’t safe and to get out. I was surprised and carefully read over the paper. Many things were incorrect and fabricated lies. Never again would I ever come here after being screamed at and disrespected the way I was. I had my 7 year old sister with me and the audacity is astonishing.
Great place to get your auto repaired. We just moved to Harrington, DE, and in our first week with our just-bought-used-car we needed to get the brakes repaired as soon as possible. I took the car to Thompson's Automotive and even though they were really busy Jeff made some space in their schedule of the day to take my car in and fix the brakes (they were in a really bad shape). I waited with Mary at their office and she was really nice and kind. Jeff was genuinely worried about me and my family's safety and his employee did a magnificent job with the car's brakes. And the price? They charged me the time they were actually working on my car and the parts they had to buy to fix it. Nothing more. No hidden charge or fee. Very honest and kind people. I strongly recommend you consider them next time you are in need of some auto repair. Thanks to Jeff, Mary and the mechanic who worked on my car.
I am so pleased with the service that i received at Thompson's! From the moment i called and spoke to Jeff, the owner, to the moment when i got my car back and realized Jeff had even turned my AC on for me when i was ready to leave! Such sweet people and very great prices. All other shops were going to charge me around $500, Jeff and his great staff only charged $253. I highly recommend!
