This place is great for locals to come hangout and drink and have good food. It's not over the top though. Service is kinda relaxed, you may need to ask for something as they can be super busy. The atmosphere is awesome!! The Cheeseburger here is my favorite as well as the loaded fries.
Fun and unique bar. We stopped here for a couple drinks while staying in the area awhile ago and forgot to leave a review. Great service & drinks.
Definately worth a stop for the food alone if you like that down home backyard cookout style of dining. The decor is a lot to look at, think old style saloon and dad's hunting trophy den. We sat inside the restaurant portion for a Saturday late lunch. Appetizers and entrees were quick to arrive. There was a heavy presence of bikers that were gathered out in the outdoor bar area with live music and you can tell that this is a regular watering hole for them. Overall a very pleasant stop and we would go there again next time we are in the area.
Rustic hunting cabin vibes with taxidermy animals and deer heads all over. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good! Outdoor patio area is big and they had live music when we went for lunch. The inside area is also huge and has two levels of seating. A great spot that looks like the local favorite eatery among locals. If you want an appetizer, try the pretzels with beer & cheese dip - so good!
We've lived up here in Mansfield since 2014. We have been to 36 a few times, but this year was the first time we had eaten at The Hog Pit. We enjoyed the service, food, and entertainment. We enjoyed it so much we went several times this year. We will definitely be going back next season.
We were in the Hog Pit (outside), and it has a nice setup with tables, umbrellas, and unique and interesting decor. We were there for lunch. The staff was friendly enough. Our waitress wasn't as attentive as I would have liked, but she wasn't bad. The food was good, a little on the pricey side, but it is a bit of a tourist destination.
Great food, decent prices & good service. The spinach dip was a super small portion but whatever. The buffalo chips are just fries cut like thick chips & weren’t really spicy. Still good, though. Waited for our bill a little long but other than that everything was great! It was our second time there & we will more than likely be back since it’s the only decent restaurant within a 40 mile radius of Turkey Run.

Fun atmosphere. Lots of mounted animals, and done artistically. The food was good, but not amazing. Kids' meals are small. Food portions are light, so make sure to order enough.
