I just had the best Cheese Steak sandwich I've ever had! Not gonna lie. I didn't expect much given the neighborhood was a little bit on the rough side. However, this place is very clean and the building has a fresh and clean look. There is not much seating inside, but there are a couple of nice tables outside.
I ordered a super size cheese steak sandwich with provolone cheese, onions, and hot peppers. The bread was so fresh and delicious.
I'm glad I gave this place a chance, and will definitely be back for more! This is gonna be my main spot for sure!
The Philly Cheesesteaks here are very good. I been here twice already since I’ve discovered it. I believe the prices are reasonable because of the great quality of the food. The neighborhood is a bit rough but obviously that’s not their fault. I wouldn’t sit in the shop and eat there again if I didn’t have too. This issue is all throughout California TBH. Since there are SOO many homeless people, it changes the sit-and-eat experience.
Small hole in the wall, friendly service, providing Daily specials. The Garlic Fries are the truth and a BIG PORTION is given! Cheesesteak was good, nothing bad to say about it. I cannot remember what I ordered or how much I paid, I'd give it a second round.

Food is ok if you want to wait 45 minutes for a sandwich, but be careful when asking about your order because the cook is very rude and mad.
Vegan Dragon Philly Sandwich (with veggie chicken) pictured below which was great, got the combo that comes with a generous amount of curly fries and a pink lemonade which were both flavorful. The worker was very helpful when ordering and they were friendly when I arrived, will be returning soon.
I was blown away at how good this place is. A true gem of the East Bay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to eat.
I can't say that was the worst cheese steak I've ever had, but it was in the F tier contenders.
The staff were kind enough, but the food was horrendous.
I took a few steps out the door, decided to taste my meal, and immediately turned around. I thought "maybe I can choke this down with some ketchup" just to not make an issue.
I was then eating inside the restaurant, took one more bite and threw most of the sandwich in the garbage.
Additionally, why are we normalizing charging more something that should ALREADY BE ON A CHEESE STEAK?!?! An extra charge for peppers?!? Really? It's a pickle... so $18 later, I am left at a restaurant down the street, still hungry.
Frankly, I am astounded by how many good reviews y'all have.
Not for me, but feel free to try. Maybe you'll like this place.
