Best breakfast I've had in a long time.so many places servebthe cheapest and charge premium prices.not the windmill. Good food sensible prices.
Keep up the good work
My favourite cafe of all time. Me and a friend go once a week, I'm local but my friend drives from Barking just to come here.
Food is fresh good quality and locally sourced, obviously you can get cheaper but you get what you pay for in way of quality.
I've recommended it to several people and they all love it to.
Well done Andy and Sue.
Friendly staff, great tasting food and generous portion size. I would highly recommend
Just finished the most delicious lemon drizzle cake ever freshly made on the premises.
Can’t wait to make a return visit to try another one of the yummy cakes but will have lunch too next time as they looked wonderful as I saw them being served to other diners.
Thoroughly recommend to anyone and everyone!
We dropped in here from the A12, looking for somewhere a little different, comfortable, with good food - nailed it! They had great vegan options, and everything was served quickly and presented well. Definitely recommend, much better than those chain options...
We bombarded this cafe with 160+ riders as part of a cycling club during our London 2 Clacton on sea ride for charity yesterday. I was taken back by the hospitality, patience and kindness shown by the staff in this small elegant cafe it was very admirable to say the least. They went above and beyond and ensured that we were all prepared for the remainder of our journey. I didn't have a chance to show my gratitude as we were on a steady pace to get to the finish line so thank you so much for your help in fuelling us(160+) riders. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cafe for a stop on your journey and travels as they deserve the recognition for good food and amazing service, thank you and we will definitely be back again!
We were looking for a snack lunch and had tried the pubs, two of which are restaurants with loud music and the other had no food, and then we found this oasis. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff, gorgeous grub, clean tables; it was a delight.
Went for lunch and must say the food was absolutely delicious. With grandchildren who equally enjoyed their food! Not cheap but worth it for tasty food. It was busy but service was okay. Warm and comfortable on a cold day.
