The worst hotel stay for me EVER. And I travel a lot. I will never stay here again. Constant noise. Even after 10pm. Midnight. 1am. 4:40am. Bammimg. Stomping on the floor. They do nothing about it but make it seem like the problem is you. Didn’t offer a different room. NOTHING but attitude. After reporting the issue 3 times they didn’t understand why I’m annoyed. Don’t ask for an extra towel. It will take an act of Congress. The staff can’t be bothered. I was here for business. They will not get a good review or recommendation from me. And these 1970s beds are horrible! Needs upgrades. It’s so old. And not very clean IMO. You could probably deal with the facility if nothing else is available… but the staff will not try to make your staff comfortable.
If you're meeting family from three different locations, this is not the place for you. There is no place in this hotel to gather for a card/board game or just to gather. This was a good location for my family to meet, so I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. We have a family card game that we enjoy. When we asked if there was a table and chairs available, the answer was no. When we asked about using the breakfast area (a room off of the actual breakfast bar area that has only tables and chairs) or a conference area or anything, we were told no because they rent out those rooms. The breakfast tables and chairs are actually in a locked room. I didn't see that anyone had rented the breakfast area for a couple hours any of the nights we were there. Even if that is a hard rule, which she made very clear, she was unnecessarily rude. I've stayed in many hotels and would have never assumed there would be no place available to gather with my family. The whole reason for our stay was to spend time together, and that was not accommodated here.
The bed was uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a lumpy launch pillow. Every movement was disturbing to the other person.
Two of my family members were cut and scraped while using the pool. When we reported this to the front desk, we got the impression that this is a common occurrence.
The staff at check-in and check-out were friendly. The furniture throughout the hotel is nice. The hotel was clean.
I'll be looking elsewhere next time.
The hotel is located down the street from a precinct, which isn't an issue as long you're not in a rush to get your car out of the car park while 3 cops aren't parked in parking spaces and are blocking the only exit because they're just talking about their day. Or if you're backing out of your parking spot and a cop is going over 25 and barely misses your car. Also the hot tub only fits 2 people and the concrete/grout is incredibly uncomfortable. Also it took 13 minutes to drive less than 2 miles in this town. On the way out the stoplight by the hotel did not change for 5 whole fricking minutes and was green for only about 3 of the 8 cars waiting to get through. Also the automatic doors are a nightmare. It's automatic double doors that open with about a door and a 1/4 space for you to get through so I wouldn't recommend bringing in a wide wheelchair.
The bed was soft, I do like my bed firm but that's not a big issue, the comforter was the heaviest I've ever had in my life, but all in all I have no issues with the hotel, everyone was extremely nice and it was a good stay.
Nice hotel room. Shallow pool and small hot tub, but clean and well kept. It was in a nice part of town across from the police station with free parking in the parking garage. The free breakfast was really good and had a lot of choices!
First I want to say that me and my daughter really enjoyed our stay. My daughter had decided that we should try out the hot tub, you can imagine our surprise when the fire alarm went off while we were getting out. So we ran down the hall, through the fire doors to the front desk. The receptionist was very very quick to grab a lot of towels to cover us up with so we didn't get cold. I was very very impressed with how professional, and accomodating she was with all that was going on. She handled everything with the fire department, and made sure all of us were safe, and well cared for. She stayed calm, and professional through the whole ordeal. we later found out that it had something to do with the sprinkler system. All was well, and we were able to return to our room. I really wanted to thank her before I left this morning. However she was off by the time we left. My daughter is disabled, and the receptionist stayed calm and she really made sure that we all as a whole felt safe and taken care of. To the receptionist, if someone shows you this, thank you so much.
Breakfast, is average, what most 3 Star hotels offer. Not satisfied with the mattress, little sloppy and not comfortable enough. Cleanliness was good, room was decent. Washroom was satisfactory. Overall experience satisfactory.
The staff was friendly. The hotel is located in a convenient area and around plenty of amenities. The breakfast is pretty basic. Parking is convenient- there’s a garage which is especially nice this time of year. My main issue with the hotel is the lack of cleanliness. We got a room with a Jacuzzi tub and the jets were filthy. There was mold in the bathroom under the ledge of the tub and on the outdated wallpaper. The vents for the heating/cooling were full of dust.
The hotel is pet friendly so that’s also a plus since we traveled with our dog.
