Amazing Cakes Pastries with really nice bread. Super friendly and helpful staff as we arrived one of the team was helping a lady to her car. Lovely selection and very nice coffee. Always better to have a nice coffee from an independent rather than a huge vat of milk from the chains. Definitely recommend this lovely place.
The food was lovely but slightly on the pricey end...
small coffees cups
Serving person just wanted to get rid of me and move on regardless of my questions.
No toilets
I asked for hot sandwiche, I got cold.
On the whole not a great experience as a cafe eating place, but a nice bakery if they had any stock left.
I was craving for doughnuts but unfortunately they don't do them anymore ???? ( the old pictures of them looked delicious ???? ) but I did get some other treats to enjoy which I happily gobbled up!!!!!
I came here after seeing it on hairy bikers as iv lived in Liverpool fr 6 years now n never heard of it
I was so looking forward to trying the fruit loaf that was shown on the programne but when I arrived at 11am thy didn’t have much left,
So I decided to a jus got a cappuccino and
A pain au chocolat
I was so annoyed at how small the coffee was and at £3.50 it’s an absolute rip off it was thimble sized a few mouth fulls n it was gone.
The assistant didn’t ask if I wasn’t sugar or anything.
The pain au chocolat was a decent size £3.00 but so so greasy n barely any chocolate inside what so ever.
I’m definitely not coming bk here even to try the fruit cake first impressions count n mine wasn’t good at all staff are miserable thy all look depressed.
This bakery is just our favourite! Everything they sell is delicious and made with such great natural ingredients and you can really tell.
The sourdough, fruit loaf, custard tarts and pecan tart are our favourites all washed down with a good cup of coffee.
Great staff as well and on a sunny day perfect to enjoy outside of to take onto the waterfront
Honestly one of the best bakeries I’ve been to in the UK and I wish I could pick it up and bring it down to London so I could go every day. Their sandwiches (yes I tried both) were delicious and their hazelnut bearclaw and custard tart were among the best pastries I’ve eaten all year.
OH MY WORD! I popped into The Wild Loaf today to buy an organic sourdough loaf (my daughter gave me some to try & I'm now addicted) The bread was still hot! I bought a sourdough loaf, a fruit loaf & a piece of carrot n walnut cake. As soon as I got home I sliced the sourdough bread, slathered it with butter & devoured half the loaf! I've never tasted bread so good! I cannot do this place justice by using words. You would have to try it to believe it. The place is small but extremely warm & welcoming. I shall never go back to eating mass-produced, sliced bread.
Oh my gosh. I go past this amazing Bakery several times a week but never gave it a 2nd thought until we watched the Hairy Bikers episode, which features it.The long Saturday morning queue says it all. Delicious breads and pastries all hand made and using fresh local sourced and / or ethically sourced ingredients. Great coffee. We bought a beautiful rye bread and the sourdough fruit loaf. 1st visit but it won't be our last. Local independent business. Whats not to like ????
