First visit. On sitting down at the table, Food seen being returned to the kitchen, one item of food we ordered was cold and of a questionable colour. We Complained about this, the chef came out and entered into a customer unfriendly rant about how long the food was in the smoker. His attitude was poor. His uniform was filthy!
He came back a second time again challenging us and repeated his story! He did not address the issue of the colour of the food or the fact it was cold.
A further table were also unhappy with the same dish for the same reason, they said to us that they had complained but hadn’t been given a response.
The main meals were fine, it was just this side dish that was unacceptable.
As a first impression, I will not be returning, or recommending to anyone else!
A shame really that a chef’s attitude and ineptitude has cost the business future repeated custom.

Just been to check on our caravan ready for the start of the season , been waiting since last year to try the food at the goose , didn’t disappoint , presentation great and the food was excellent , lovely bar staff really friendly , see you in 2 weeks , only problem this is going to be the busiest place to go because it’s so nice , well done the goose x????????

We had not visited here before although we live locally. Close to where we parked our car we entered through an open door we’re immediately shouted at for coming in that way! We said we had booked a table to be told we could NOT sit in the front and could not look at both menus! We did not understand all these rules. Food was good and service eventually good but then found the proprietor had blocked us in when parking his car . Very inconsiderate to his customers as there so many other spaces he could have used. All in all good good but attitude appalling.

Had full rack of ribs and the chicken skewers , food was amazing cooked to perfection! Atmosphere was lovely in the restaurant with some Motown as background music , very chilled !
Staff are lovely would definitely recommend
