Called in for food and was welcomed by a friendly atmosphere, the landlord was very helpful and found out if any places for breakfast close by for us on a Sunday morning, the food was out of this world amazing, the service was amazing and the quality of the food was outstanding and it was not expensive, I highly recommend calling into the white post we will be returning again.
We booked a table for 7 adults & 1 child.
The food was excellent, along with the service. The staff were very accommodating.
I had the Lamb Shank. Very tasty!

Was a plate of beef lasagne, salad & chips. Chips were great, fluffy & crispy. Good pint of ale.

Great friendly country pub, great in the winter, always warm with a open fire, and great in the summer, with a big garden.

Exceptional food, service, prices, friendliness all round. Mark, my dog Winnie and I had a superb meal / drinks tonight. Fabulous. Brendan and his sister couldn't do enough for us, even plated some chicken for Winnie. Have been many times before and always a relaxing time throughout. Many thanks.
We visited on 2 occasions whilst in the area, Sunday lunch, which was amazing, and an evening meal later in the week, both meals were delicious, very good value for money, staff were very friendly and welcoming, just wish it was nearer to where we live!
Love it here. Very cosy. The outside needs more aesthetic to attract customers because it looks like a biker hangout. But then I like bikers ;)
