We've been 3x for breakfast and I can't wait to go back when my daughter is in town. I've had fruit pancakes, sausage and home fries each time. They are the best pancakes I've ever had! I don't know what the chef does but they are light and fluffy with a little bit of crisp around the edges. So delicious! My son-in-law got the "hobo special" and raved about it. We both thought the home fries were perfect. Of course, my granddaughter was very happy with her pancakes stocked with fresh fruit. The atmosphere is quaint, small town, diner vibe. Twice a customer has pulled down one of the guitars from the wall and started playing. There is one waitperson for this small restaurant so be patient. But it's worth it. Going back this week????
Hands down some of the best food I have had!They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done right. They offer vegetarian and vegan options as well.The tofu smoked sandwich was delicious . The staff is excellent , friendly , knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Must try!
The waitress was nice but it was just us and one other group in the place and it took like 25 minutes for us to get two sandwiches. When we finally got it our sandwiches were barely hot and the lettuce on my sandwich was wilted and old. Kind of a weird vibe in there and the food was subpar at best.
Cozy little breakfast spot. Simple but good menu. Quick and easy. Friendly staff. Not much going on in Turners Falls but if you find yourself here, stop by for the best breakfast this quaint town has to offer.
Went in for some slices of banana bread and hot chocolate. Banana bread looked like it was plopped on a cutting board used previously for corned beef or raw bacon. There were some pieces of meat on it and it smelled like onions. From a food safety perspective, I would steer clear of this place. Not to mention that it was dry and the hot chocolate tasted like Swiss Miss.
Good food (pancakes were AMAZING), eggs and bacon were good. Small space with not too many tables, but didn't seem overly crowded. Very dim lighting. Bathroom was relatively clean. Reasonable time to get our food. Waitress was polite, not overly friendly or attentive.
I would not say it's kid-friendly. No booster seats, no kids menu. We'd still go again, though!
Great little place! Another hidden gem in this area. My fish & chips was perfect, the hand cut fries was a nice touch and the fish was well done. Really looking forward to trying their house blend coffee w/a hobo special really soon!
Update- dropped in for the pancakes&hash, best pancakes in the Valley! My new weekend breakfast "go to"
Loved everything about this little gem. Delicious buttermilk pancakes with fruit, real maple syrup, good company & a wonderful waitress. Bonus was another customer who took down one of the many instruments available & played the most beautiful tune on the guitar!
My only request - a couple VEGETARIAN and VEGAN options - hence 4 rather than 5 stars.
