Small cozy local pub, great to see Shrovetide footballs hanging from the roof and one of the best watering holes in Ashbourne. No frills decent beer a locals pub bit open for all.
Proper pub, great ale, great atmosphere and staff and a landlord who knows what he's about.
Very nice traditional pub and good prices, nice outdoor courtyard out the back, friendly locals too. Walked past many a time...so glad I called in.
This is a cracking little old-fashioned pub. Excellent Marston's pedigree and draught Bass at very sensible prices. Locals are very friendly and full of banter. Landlord is a legend and rightly proud of his association with the Ashbourne Shrovetide football match. Do pop in for a pint if you get the chance.
And what a laugh we had, cheap drinks, great atmosphere and a fun experience
Great pub, really friendly staff and regulars reasonably priced. 4 x Jaiger bombs for £7 - good times ????
