Best KPortal Reviews
Family friendly with an adorable feline that checks on you throughout your meal. It was not busy when my friend and child visited, around noon on a Wednesday after a holiday. We seated ourselves on the first floor, right next to the water. When we were ready to order we went up to the hostess stand. Our table had a cheese pizza (didn't realize there wouldn't be sauce and I was bit disappointed about the size for the cost, I should have read the menu closer), a black bean burger, fries for the table and drinks.
I think this would be a great spot for drinks with friends, maybe at a later time. There's a giant connect four and other games indoors. I'll try that out and update my review. Very nice spot to rest if paddleboarding.
Very Beautiful restaurant will most definitely come here again. Food is amazing but I didn’t really enjoy the gumbo because I’m not used to the taste. But all the other foods are GREAT and let’s about their make you feel at home bathroom very nice!
Coffee, 1/2 sweet tea, Mama's Pink Punch (Mother's Day), Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp Benedict (toasted slices of French bread, topped with grilled shrimp, fried green tomato, poached egg, and hollandaise, the potatoesseasoningwas delicious). Delightful. Hard to believe we've waited so long to get here again. It's been too long. Locals have a jewel here. Worth the wait... well, Mother's Day was about 50+ minutes, but all the moms need to be celebrated. Probably a good idea to come back on a less crowded day. It was still delicious. And we had a choice of outside or inside seating. It was a great afternoon 2:30ish and the weather was really nice. ...and a complementary rose for moms. Nice touch. Had to take a slice of cheese cake home. Folks say they have a great one, so we'll try that too! Thanks Chrisy for serving, and Happy Mother's Day to you too.
This restaurant came as a total surprise to us- had never heard of it, but just searched for somewhere to eat and found ourselves here. The atmosphere seemed like a good time, and the food did not disappoint. Drinks and apps were great, and our entrees were delicious. The filet mignon was like cutting into butter, and had so much flavor; the snow crab clusters were yummy according to my husband. Our server Jeremy was awesome too! Can’t wait to take friends and family here in the near future.
Awesome atmosphere right on the water even after sunset. We had calamari fingers that were pretty good and the Val P pizza that was alright (shrimp pieces were good but nothing stellar). Service was average....
We love making the drive to the Wharf as it never disappoints. We get there early and enjoy the sounds of the band downstairs and the bartender DJ always takes great care of us. Once upstairs we get a table outside on the porch as we love the view. Oysters were on point along with the crab dip. We had the Snapper sandwich, hush puppies and a pizza and all were very tasty. Our server Kelsey took great care of us as well. Will be back soon.
Another let down... location is amazing. Food not so much. Ordered a shrimp po boy... basically I got fried shrimp, lettuce tomato and a toasted hoggie. No sauce of any description. The shrimp were actually very tasty. Fries were ok, maybe a little sad looking but tasted fine (didn't need any salt though...thats for sure) We were a larger group of 8 and the server didn't seem overly friendly...and it cost $28 for this sandwich and a Dr pepper, not great value either. Shame as the location is great. At least they brought all the food out at once, well done for that. One of our group had the pan fried fish of the day and they were the only one who said their meal was better than just average. Wish I'd tried one of the cakes...they look like theyd bring the star rating up!
Honestly the view is the best part on a nice day. The food was pricey but nothing to write home about. Overall it was a good experience but the parking is limited.
