(Mar 6, 2024) Randomly walked into this coffee shop with no expectations, guess what? I have tasted the best almond croissant in the city!! The staff reheated the bread in the oven after taking it out from the display case. After the second baking, the almond slices on the surface became crispy, and the crust of the bread was also done very well! The almond filling in the croissant was also excellent, although I didn't remember it very clearly, it seemed like there were almond granules in the filling. Highly recommend everyone to try this almond croissant!

As Hasbean Coffee beans are used, this gives the coffee a high quality. I also tried the chicken sandwich and I really enjoyed it. There also has a breakfast deal, a ham cheese croissant with any cup of coffee for just £6. I will be back with my friends:)

This place is a real find, I had a macha latte, pistachio croissant, and the most delicious homemade soup with sourdough (which was really reasonably priced). Lovely people and vibe too. Thank you Whales Head coffee!

Great spot on Chillingham Rd- recently refurbed, a bright and airy space to sit and chill with a coffee. Would highly recommend!
We had 2 coffees as takeaway and it was really good coffee. We had a lovely chat with the barista as well which made the experience even better. First time but not the last. Thank you!
A pleasant and peaceful place to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat. The coffee is great and there is a good selection of sweet pastries and savoury toasted sandwiches. Try the pistachio and white chocolate croissant! Prices are decent.
The seating area is bright and clean, customer wifi is available, and there is chilled out music playing for a relaxing vibe. The staff are friendly.
