Best chippy in East Ayrshire.
Definetely the best sausage supper for sure. My O/H loves the black pudding & steak pie too. Great service. Always made fresh. Worth the wait, or even better, phone in advance & pick up ????
Not a fan of leaving less than good reviews where I can help it but genuinely disappointed as we came here based on the glowing reviews when passing through. Can’t fault the staff but the pricing and food quality was below par.
The fish portions for the money are tiny (£18 spent here) and the chips were dry and stale. Ended up leaving loads, real shame. Photos are as we got it, already broken up. Not fussed about that, only mentioning because it looks like we’d already eaten some when that wasn’t the case.
Waited 25 min, due to phone orders , in freezing shop.
Chose premium haddock supper, x3 between us all there couldn't have been a whole fish.
The food was good but lack of communication as time very poor value for money £33 with 3 drinks, unfortunately I will not be back. Sorry

Got a fish supper last week and it had 1 and half bits of fish in it, got one tonight and it had one bit so phoned to be told it’s been 1 bit since covid?
I must have imagined the other half bit I ate last week, not to mention there was no change in the price.
Asked for tartar sauce which was never received as well, this is my go to chippy as the food is always spot on and the tartar sauce is splendid but tonight has been less than good to say the least.
We were passing through on Saturday and I really fancied a chippy tea. We both had the fish supper and it was tasty! The batter was lovely and crispy and best of all not greasy! Would definitely recommend.
First time here tonight. Don’t normally write reviews but this was absolutely superb. Friendly service. All cooked fresh. And delicious! Well done. You have new regulars :-)
Called ahead as we're coming from Stair. Fish supper and sausage supper were so fresh, crispy batter and just tasted amazing. We have a small caravan site and the Wee Chippy Mauchline is recommended to all our visitors. Well done ????
