A very nice place, the staff were very polite, professional & welcoming.
The Sunday lunch was very tasty. I have never had such crispy, tasty roast potatoes the dinner was delicious!! Definitely would recommend it.
Didn't eat there so can't score on food but other people we've met say the food is good.. Nice cosy pub. We had dogs and they are allowed inside on leads. Good selection of drafts and bottled beers. Driven past it numerous time so thought it was about time to pop in for one.. Will do so again asap..
Such high quality delicious food. The cauliflower cheese is to die for! Everything was so tasty, I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Really nice outdoors area as well which is perfect for little ones to enjoy and also great for dogs. Can’t wait to come back!
Unfortunately we had a terrible meal here. The burger was inedible, awful quality and over cooked, could barely chew it. The chips however were really good!
The falafel was also really dry and flavourless.
We told the front of house staff when asked how everything was and the chef came out who then told us they had just taken over last week and were using the previous owners/chefs food up.
The chef gave us a complementary drinks as an apology.
We paid in full for our meals, which we wish we hadn't as £15.95 for some chips, a burger bun and a small dollop of coleslaw on reflection is awful.
The pub itself is really nice with a lovely garden and the staff were all friendly and polite.
Lovely pub serving great Sunday roast dinners. Friendly staff and obviously popular judging by the reserved tables. Keenly priced, too.
We will not be returning to the Watermill. This pub needs more staff when it's busy. The waitress was rushed off her feet when we were there. She forgot about our drinks order, a trip to the bar and a gentle reminder that we had not received our drinks. we got a lot of apologies and the price of the drinks knocked off our bill. The greens I received with my meal had been seasoned with something that resembled curry powder. We had finished our meal and waited for someone to come and clear our table, after 30 minutes we paid and left. The people who we dealt with were all very pleasent but customers service was poor.
8 of us spent a lovely Sunday lunch here. Food was delicious the service was great. Nothing was too much trouble. We all would highly recommend this pub.
A lovely, quaint, old style public house. It has a working water wheel on the outside & you can see the working cogs & wheels inside. Fascinating & quirky.
Good food, good friendly service & a good selection of ales. The inside is comfy & has the right match of old & new fittings. The outside seating areas are well laid out & are set in beautiful grounds. A pub that is worth going out of your way for. ????????
