I knew the NHS was in the toilet but this place is shocking. My ten day old baby is screaming in pain after feeding and the midwife told us to go straight to the doctors to get an immediate appointment considering she is so young. Went down and was met by the rudest lady (one with ginger hair) I've ever met, stinking attitude and would not even check to see if there was anything ending up walking out. How on earth she got a people facing job is beyond me but then again the whole place is a shambles. Go elsewhere if you can because this place would rather see you dead.
Moved to a different doctor's surgery because this place just became useless with helping any medical emergency. If I needed an appointment in the past couple years I would just be told to either wait or get declined. So glad I moved to a much better doctor's surgery. This place used to be good however it has gone downhill a lot recently.
I am going to start this review by saying that I fully appreciate that GP Surgeries are very busy and under a lot of pressure. I do get this.
However, that does not mean the staff should be rude, abrupt and unhelpful.
I called to speak to a doctor. I was on hold for 30-45 minutes. Once I got through to someone I was told the doctors we booked up for the day. No appointments available for even a quick call. I asked if I can book one for tomorrow. I was told no. I have to call on the day. The woman on the phone was in such a hurry to get rid of me. She was not helpful, no advice on what I can do if I need help today.
So, I was left with either another 45 minute wait to ask what I can do next, or blindly google for the information.
What is this? I thought you were supposed to medical professionals. What if I’m in dire need and you just fobbed me off? Is that what your practice is about?
You either need to send your receptionists on some customer service training or get some new ones. Based on my interaction with them, they are in some serious need of help.
Terrible!
Rudest reception staff who are not qualified to give medical advice yet choose to do so anyway which is utterly negligent.
Will be moving doctors, I am sick and tired of dealing with this surgery which ends up in nothing but frustration due to the lack of customer service and understanding towards any medical situation.
My 80 year old mother was told to go to sandringham road to enquire about her missing prescription she does not drive and walks with difficulty I know about he car crash but this is not an excuse not to do your job and send poorly pensioners out in extreme weather, over 30 degrees
the reception in sandringham road was polite and efficent
Very difficult to get appointments. Even if kids got high temperature they don't want to let you see a doctors (receptionist). Often staying on the phone for nearly an hour to hear that there is no appointments left. They tell me to ring next day. But when I got there sometimes occasionally I have seen receptionist making booking for some patients on the desk when I was told that I have to do it by phone. Guess there's different rules for different patients. :(:(
I visited the practice today and was greeted by the friendly receptionist Bev. I had an appointment with the nurse practitioner and I came out of the appointment so happy. I was treated so well, never once did I feel like I was being rushed so he could get the next patient in. I felt very cared for and was treated so well. Well done to the Village Practice for employing Paul Jones the new nurse practitioner.. ✅✅
What as this country come to when a doctor's receptionist thinks their a doctor? Very rude, my 2 year old very sick and me too and receptionist wouldn't make appointments, they went on to send a text asking for photos! What!? It's about time this country got back to basics and maybe doctors be doctors and receptionists be what they exactly are. Delusions of grandeur!
