Very nice and welcoming community of people. You feel like you’re in a small country town full of nice folk! Scenery is amazing, the food is amazing, and the prices for their coffee, ice cream, and treats are very affordable. It’s one of those places that if you’re passing by, you just feel the urge to stop there and chill for a bit. :)
I absolutely love stopping here, it feels like it’s own little town♥️ Doc’s coffee has the best coffee but more importantly the treats and staff are even better!!! The spa was like walking into another world, I loved seeing the transformation. I can’t wait to come back soon for the live music!!!!
At 65 years old I can remember being a youngster and growing up when Pickles Gap Village was the most anticipated stopover for our family when we traveled. I have been so sad to see the decline over the years. BUT WAIT!! Thanks to an awesome Christian family with a BIG dream and the faith to make it reality, The Village at Pickles Gap has new life breathed into it!! If anyone that remembers the ups and downs over the years hasn’t visited the renewed Village you have to plan to stop by and see it for yourself! While you’re there have a coffee or ice cream (we happened to run into friends at Doc’s Coffee & Creamery), visit the knife shop, check out the amazing spa and browse the locally made bath bombs, lip balm, etc, visit the antique shop, and see the progress on the country market. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!!
I have been to the village at pickles gap many times since the new owners have purchased it and began to re create everything! Doc’s Coffee is by far one of my favorite places to sit down for homework or a book and get a good coffee and a treat. The staff is so friendly and helpful! I also am a huge dog lover and with the shop being dog friendly my dog so enjoys to come in for a pup cup! If you walk across the street The Rustic Jewel is definitely a place you will never forget once you experience it! The vibe of the whole shop is so unique and the people who work there are so helpful! A market is in the making according to the staff and it is soon to hold many different plants, treats, and household items. I have yet to visit the other new shops since they have opened but I am so excited to do so soon!!
Love everything that is coming to this area! The new owners are clearly working hard to renovate the buildings and you can tell they really care. My grandmother worked in this village back in the 70s and it is really awesome to see it coming back to life. The coffee shop is really cool, the soapery smells like heaven, and the knife shop has so many cool things from knives to leather goods. It’s always awesome to drive by and see all the plants and pottery in the market area too!
The Village at Pickles Gap has really turned around with the new owners!! They have worked very hard at refurbishing the existing structures and bringing in quality shops. I enjoy taking my children there for a afternoon outing of shopping complete with ice cream and/or coffee….. I’ve even had the chance to use the new spa for a massage and facial. Both were incredible and can’t wait to do it again!
Previous comments have mentioned that there isn’t much open, however that wasn’t my experience. An antique shop recently opened, there’s a spa and soapery, a coffee shop that also serves soda and ice cream and chocolates galore, and a pretty unique knife shop! A home decor and clothing boutique will be opening soon! Also the ozark country market is still being renovated, which I think was the confusion from other comments as to why it might have looked open, as people are coming and going from that building for renovation. Overall it’s pretty fun to hang out and super unique! I’m glad the new owners are giving this place new life since it’s been such a big part of the community for so long.
Loved the coffee and ice cream! The knife shop is especially awesome. There are hand made knives of every size with some fine craftsmanship in both the blades, and the handles.
