Visited the fish shop following another competitor in the area was closed when meant to be open, did us a favour. I must say it was a delightful visit, fantastic piece of haddock, cooked in beef dripping to perfection. Would definitely revisit and would highly recommend. Well done guys! Worth the que.

Food is brilliant and plenty and you can order in advance.well worth the 40 min round trip. Lovely friendly couple.
They always say it’s different up north, but it’s true. I was a fat gitt and ordered the special fish, chips and a bread cake, with 2 cans of pop to wash it down. The bill £10.30, I was shocked.
As for the food the special fish is extra large, the chips was 3 massive scoops, and salt and vinegar to perfection. But the fish was one of the best I have tasted, it was perfectly seasoned before put in the batter. The batter was crispy and peaking so high the box wouldn’t shut.
