I noticed this nice little bakery when i was passing through walthamstow village on Friday 26 April 2024 I could see through the front windows that they had a very large selection of hot beverages and ???? cakes etc and at very reasonable prices I opted for a cappuccino and a lemon sponge cake wish I had taken some photos the coffee was spot on and the lemon sponge cake first class ???????????? service was very friendly with in and outside seating i would highly recommend paying them a visit i will be going back again next week.
First time I visited the cafe I was presently surprised at the choice of foods, the prices and Sam (the owner) who was warm and welcoming.
I've since been a few times either eating there or taking food away. Very good portions and always nice to have a quick chat. A few of my friends have been and enjoy the food there too.
I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who hasn't yet been.
Comfortable, petite and welcoming with two wonderful friendly and responsive ladies providing all your refreshments needs.
All food is home made and delicious.
I recommend a visit.
Worst bagel I’ve ever had in my life. Dry, barely toasted, with a few processed pack-bought chicken slices and unseasoned sliced avocado just chucked on top. No seasoning at all, no butter or cream cheese. Absolutely awful. Advertised as “Brick Lane Bagel” too which is laughable. Will not be going back, do not recommend.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE coffee (and I'm not a coffee snob). Couldn't finish it. For the price there are places in a very short walking distance offering FAR better coffee for the same price.
Great food, wish I had a chance to try other things
Service is shocking, not welcoming at all. Ordered 2 chicken and sweercorn sandwiches firstly she slapped 8 pieces of thick chicken on bread sprinkled hard sweetcorn on the top,didnt bother to ask if i needed salt or pepper, I had to ask her to put mayo on,imagine eating dry chicken and dry bread.Ended up leaving it to the fox,£4.95 down the drain. Avoid!!!! The standards have gone down hill,when I use to come here before the owner use to take pride in serving sandwiches on bloomer bread as a standard service. Not good.
Went in Saturday after being soaked in a downpour. Tiny little place with great coffee and wide array of food. We just had coffee and a small tart but the breakfast served to another table looked excellent. Very yummy cakes on show and good prices.
