The manager and staff who work in this shop are lovely people and the food they serve is some of the best I’ve tasted.
Brought my granddaughter in after school as she wanted a ping doughnut ring with sprinkles. She pointed to one at the front but was given one from the other end that was stale and inedible. To top it all you charged me £1.50 for One doughnut ????
WOW first time here is absolutely out of this world. The original Sri Lankan food was amazing, and so was the english offerings. What a gem a diamond, find thankyou guys see you soon delicious ????

We were visiting family when they said, “we will go out to lunch for a curry bun”!!
Well, we love curry and buns - but together?
Until we were served the most delish curry, inside (what I would call ‘a milk loaf’) roll.
It was so tasty.
We had the lamb, but I am sure there was chicken and a veggie one too.
Also served to us was a gorgeous light sponge cake which we remember having while on holiday in Sri Lanka visiting friends.
The lady whose shop it is, was so lovely and sweet and we enjoyed talking to her about her homeland.
Do try the ‘curried buns’ as they really are amazing, and when we are back in NAG, we will be heading to The Bakery.
from the time we stumbled upon this bakery in new ash green . we have never looked back. we always go there to buy their lovely fresh Buns. The Buns are the best I have ever tasted and very filling too.

They iced coffee is so tasty too...its worthy every penny.

What a find! Having tried their delicious bread at one of our local farm shops we decided to visit the bakery - and what a delight it was! As well as the more standard offerings you expect to find in a bakery they also offer a fantastic range of Sri Lankan food (curry buns, naan bread, samosas etc.). We were lucky enough to visit on a Saturday when they offer a full Sri Lankan meal - which was not only excellent value but absolutely delicious! The flavours were exciting and well balanced and we can't wait to have one again. Service was welcoming, friendly and helpful - I just wished we lived closer!
Went to visit the bakery last Saturday for the first time and we were very impressed with the food, especially the curry buns, kotthu wrap and the rice with curry. Had a lovely slice of cake with a great Sri Lankan style iced coffee and sat in the outdoor space which had a really lovely atmosphere. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again!
