Unfortunately it was a funeral but i remember when it was the doo club and what a difference it,s been done up really well catering was excellent and met a lot of people i had not seen for many a year it is still a good place to go for a quiet drink and also to hire the funcyion room. I was thete for a 30th function room excellent catering excellent great place for a funtion. Still a good place for a drink and watch sports. I went to see an Abba tribute band who were fantastic great place to hold a function. Who ever owns the village has done a great job.
Held my birthday party here. The girls at the bar were marvelous. The dj they used (Mac Star) was really good and helped the night go!! Tha function hall is nice and large and well decorated. We all had a really great night.
First time I have been in here for about 20 years. A very modern and up-to-date place. Friendly atmosphere and nice bar staff. ????????????????????????.
I had my 60th birthday party here 10 yrs ago when it was the Doo Club, it was gr8 then but is now lovely being refurbished.
The Village is where I went to Celebrate the New Year only a 10 second walk in Langton Road going to Oakbank Road ,East Calder ,A Great night loved the fact I had a £15 pass to get in and was there until quarter past 1 .
Seems very popular and pretty lively. top floor is much more bigger than I expected and seems a reasonable place for a private venue hire.
At a function, Mod Scooter Club do. Friendly crowd good atmosphere.
Had a braw day so cold they gave us hot water bottles which were much needed for the Scottish beer garden experience. Staff were great and good atmosphere
