Wonderful little discovery on the edge of town. The cobblestone pathway was so quaint and old fashioned, it perfectly suits the inside of the little tea room, which contains an eclectic range of teapots. The good weather meant that the seats outside were all taken, but the staff were so kind and moved us outside once a table was free. My mother had the boiled egg tea and I had the Afternoon tea which were both delicious! The range of cakes was hard to chose from as they all looked wonderful as well. Will definitely come back here one day.
Gorgeous, reasonably priced, vintage tea rooms. Fabulous, tasty food. A wonderful discovery after my trek across the moor.
Honestly these are the very best scones I've ever had some say a little expensive but you get what you pay for absolutely cracking. Thank you so much for the friendly service and amazing food definitely award wining scones I would say.
A cute and cozy place. As a foreigner, it was so special to me that they have a kind of old but cool English style design.
We stumbled across this gem whilst on our way back home. Food was outstanding with the most perfect scones and delicious roast beef. I highly recommend this to anyone.
Small café with a modest selection of cakes. Only filter coffee available.
Fabulous cream teas! The most delicious and light home baked scones, and generous helpings of jam and clotted cream. We requested three different types of tea, and an extra pot of hot water was appreciated, too. The teens said the milkshakes were excellent. We were made very welcome, and prices most reasonable. We shall be back! Many thanks!
Had lunch here today. Excellent vegetable soup (there was also a chicken & veg soup too) with granary bread & proper butter, followed by an equally excellent Devon Cream Tea, with lashings of cream & jam & pot of tea. It’s a tiny, charming & rather quirky place full of locals highly recommend it. Great food, great service & great prices!
