We walked in after looking at internet reviews and were almost turned away as they weren't sure they could accommodate us, though they didn't seem busy.- that's the bad bit over.
We were sat down , were well looked after and had really good food.
I had steak pie with veg , great. The Mrs had Turkey escalope , she loved it .Along with beer ,coffee , garlic bread and then had the cheese board to finish , great night. And a great price.
If I come this way again I'll be back , thoroughly recommend it and what a gem the residents of Dingwall have
We all very much enjoyed our staff Christmas lunch today. Good homemade food was served by charming and efficient waiting staff and there were nice Christmas touches provided at no extra cost. I am vegetarian and was very well catered for, as was my vegan colleague. We all agreed we wouldn't wait until next Christmas before returning.
Fantastic, family decided to go for a Sunday carvery, friendly staff, good quality food and reasonably priced. We were not waiting long for the starters and obviously the carvery was ready for after starters. The kids meals were large and came out quickly. Very clean and tidy.
Visitsed with my husband and sister in law earlier tonight. Great food, but visit was spoiled a bit by the attitude of one of the young waitresses with long hair who hardly spoke to us as we entered and showed us to our table. She also took our bill and couldn't leave quickly enough after she had given me my receipt, despite me being half way through a comment to her. The young male waiter on the other hand, was excellent, polite and it was he who said "thanks for coming ' as we walked out the door.
Beautiful, quality food and wine. The king prawn tagliatelle was the best i have ever eaten, and my husband ate the venison and haggis clapshot, again the best he has ever eaten. Lovely attentive staff and very tasteful surroundings. Please eat here you will not be disappointed the xhefs abs staff are top notch.

We highly recommend it. Very tasty and a delicious selection (home-made soup, lamb liver, chicken masala, goat cheese and pear...). Friendly staff. We waited for only a short time after we ordered...we were a group of 9 and, on top of that, the restaurant was full.
