half the ordering screens were broken and it was only the combo menus that were shown. didn't know what else was offered, but went with it anyways since the chick fil a line was too long. foods alright though
I waited 15 minutes before asking where my food was. The cashier forgot all about me. The food had been sitting on the counter behind her the whole time. The gentlemen in the back kindly made me a fresh batch of fries, while the cashier still tried to give me the old food. Fries were great, and I appreciate him doing that. Burger was cold and average. This location doesn’t have the fried pies or onion rings you expect out of the varsity. Also, I was told they only had pickles or onions for burgers. However, the picture on their board shows lettuce and tomato. Their boxes have fried pies and onion rings listed on them. Terrible location. Avoid at all costs.
It’s a far cry from the original Varsity but it’s cheap hot dogs and burgers just the same. Not high quality or fast service but it did the job and I didn’t have high expectations… so the rating is relative. I enjoyed my slaw dogs and fries. Tried to get a frosted orange but they were out. Got just a regular orange… and it was not my favorite… too sweet for me.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Worst customer service ever! Burger was a joke. Tasteless, practically non-existent patty. Fries were soggy and tasted old. I threw away most of the meal. Worse than the food was the cashier. She was so rude even when met with pleasantries. Never said "Thank you" or bothered to make eye contact. When I thanked her for handing me my order, she said nothing. She was just as rude to every other customer that thanked her. Never again will I eat at Varsity and I'm a local Atlantan.
Second attempt to eat here and it pains me to say how disappointed I was.
I'm a loyal Varsity customer going back 30+ years and on more than one occasion, I've made the drive up and back from Central Florida just for lunch with friends.
So today, I was happy to learn that my connecting flight would put me right near the airport location. As we exited the plane, I took the included video as I was so happy and eager to send my friends a recap of my wonderful breakfast experience.
The signs have an opening time of 6am and it was about 830am when I walked past Chick fil A and their line of 50+ people to The Varsity. Unfortunately, after about 8 minutes of no service, despite a pleasant conversation with the 1 employee in the back, I left empty handed.
You know how sometimes your parents would say they're not mad, just disappointed? That's me right now.
Staff have a lot of flair and were cracking me up! Food was solid- I just love a Varsity chili dog - but, although they do have the Varsity orange drink and the frozen Varsity Orange, there were NO onion rings! Y’all!! Your onion rings are iconic! You gotta have them at all your locations!
Huge fan of the food, but the worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life. When I walked up the cook was arguing with an elderly man because she made his sandwich wrong. The cashier didn’t know what some of the menu items consisted of. It was just a mess
This ain't it. The burger tastes like that school cafeteria burger. The fries were hot but not done, so they were chewy. I should have just starved after spending 15 dollars on this. At least the cashier was nice.
