Straight forward, no nonsense tattoo shop. Very professional. They really put you at ease when getting your tattoo. Very clean shop with a calm vibe. Cash only (they have an ATM onsite, plus Wawa is across the street). Check out their website or IG page. Definitely worth it. Can’t wait to get my next ink.
I had got a tattoo on my chest at the age of 15 and I came here to get it covered up, I paid in full and couldn’t take the pain, the tattoo artist told me to get numbing cream…. He even told me the website to get it from I spent more money to get the cream, I contacted him multiple times, I even went up to the shop to talk about my tattoo getting finish, he never got back to me after I wrote him on instagram… he had another guy tell me he wasn’t in office…. If you want to be scam out of your money then go here… if you want to gamble your money you worked so hard for then go here…. I will never in my life go back to this tattoo shop… worst experience in my life… I shoulda knew he wasn’t a good business man when he was located in the basement of the tattoo shop… hey you live and you learn do your research before going to any tattoo shop….. I advise anyone who want to get a tattoo to not come here.
After being very reluctant about allowing my teen to get her navel pierced, we found this shop after a Google search. I called first and explained my minor wanted to be pierced and also asked if their were walk ins. The women on the phone was friendly and said we could head in now if we liked. After arriving, the guy at the desk was very nice and helpful. We signed the waiver and Tiff pierced my daughter. She was very welcoming, friendly, gentle and helpful. She explained aftercare, maintenance and upkeep. It was cash only but they have a atm inside and also a Wawa across the street. Prices are clearly posted and cool artwork as well. I appreciate the warm welcome and good service.
1st tattoo in over 10 years found them through basic google search after my appt was canceled at another shop last minute. Entire staff was very nice & welcoming. They took the time to answer my questions & gave me good recommendations for arm instead of hand. Vince my artist created custom art for me & I am so happy with it. He’s an amazing artist who’s kind, gentle professional. I will be getting another at the inkwell w/ Vince. I highly recommend this place!
It has taken me three years to pull the trigger on getting my work done. After seeing other work coming out of inkwell and scanning Paulann’s Instagram I knew I had found the person to work with. (Bonus points for being in the neighborhood I grew up in!!) I had such a great experience from my initial consultation, to getting my mock up in which Paulann was totally honest and expressed some concerns (it ended up being perfect), to getting the work of my dreams inked on me today, through her berating me with after care instructions to make sure this work of art heals properly! Paulann is a great artist and amazing person to collaborate with-I hope anyone looking to get work done keeps her and her shop in mine!
This was my first time at Upper Darby Inkwell and it won’t be my last. Clean, professional establishment. The artists were all very friendly and are highly skilled. Dan did an awesome job on my Celtic cross!

The staff at the Inkwell are so curtious. They take the time to work with you to make sure your ink is exactly what you want. Very clean shop.
Stacey is amazing. Very calm, very understanding. I had piercings done at another shop and she was more than happy to replace my jewelry, explain to me through the process, and even talk me through the pain of it all. Definitely recommend her for any piercing needs.
