This bouncer brings personal issues because of his girlfriend too the door I’ve been coming here over a year never had a issue coming here until tonight love the bartenders love the DJ but they need to make better rules for personal issues pertaining to patrons . Refusing entry because your gfs baby dad is mad at you is insane . He said and I quote “while im working the door she ain’t coming in here “ I never been legally trespassing the premises and I hope to hear a response from the owner regarding this issue
The union is my favorite bar in Chatlotte. I always feel super safe & comfortable with the security guards. The bartenders are super friendly & always take care of you. Come on Mondays for half price the entire bar & a great time. Highly recommend.
The Union is one of the most inclusive bars I’ve ever been to! Everyone feels welcome and we all come together to have a great time! Drinks are AMAZING and the vibe is *chefs kiss*!!! Check it out when you have some free time.. and Mondays are even 1/2 off!!! You have nothing else to ask for!
Came here to meet up with some friends on Friday night. I have never been before. I was surprised it was a lot bigger inside than I thought. They do have games such as two ping pong tables, dart board, jenga, cornhole and various other little games. We only stayed for about an hour or so. We arrived around 8:30 pm, which was early and a bit dead, but we had another place in mind, which is why we left. I feel like after 10 pm, it does get livelier and would be a good time if we ended up staying. I will definitely come back and see how it is later in the night. The bartenders were nice, and we had no problems with the bouncer at all.
Total dump but not in the fun or cool way. No local beers. Poorly made cocktails. Unfriendly staff. Clientele is generally low lives and frat boy types. They overserve people to the point of blackout and then send them out the door to drive home. Ownership group are just vultures that don’t care about the neighborhood. Go literally anywhere else for a better experience.
This place has changed for the better. It has been some time since I have been here. Under the new name/ownership it is now great! Bartenders are attentive, courteous and all around great at their craft. I'm not sure how someone could give Jamie a bad review?! Jamie was fantastic!
Music was on point (no it wasn't too loud) great crowd and just an all around excellent environment. I would recommend to anyone!
The bouncers and management at this place are so unnecessarily aggressive. We saw 4 of them team up against 1 guy who was clearly not a threat. They even shoved and hit women who were trying to break up the fight. Seems like they got this job as an excuse to be violent and not to actually enforce anything in a sensible way. It was honestly terrifying to watch.
This place was super fun love the staff there as well!!! 5 stars very GREAT dive bar you have to come check it out... And the dj is dope too!!!
