I've been doing business with Jim for years. He is a great mechanic,with a great personality. I've never taken my Harley here and had to worry about anything. My whole family trusts him with their bikes. If anyone needs work don't this is the place to go. I never wait too long to get it back and the work is always exactly what I needed done at better prices than you will find anywhere else.
4 stars for initial impression. Has the appearance of a classic, old school, independent Harley Davidson repair shop. I will update after I get my old Sportster back following work on the forks. Up front price seems fair ($270).
My only issue at the moment is the lack of documentation exchanged.
BTW, they accept cash, credit card (plus 3% to cover the bank fee). No checks.
I have been using Twisted Spoke for almost 10 years, Jim (owner/mechanic), and his people are fantastic mechanics that are willing to help with customization and routine maintenance. He is not just quality oriented but cost oriented. I have seen and experienced him talking customers out of expensive purchases that would have not been good moves. When he works on my bike he really does care about the end result. An iconic example of a local motorcycle shop that wants people to trust his work.
Was recommended this shop by a friend, once I got there it didn’t take long to see why. The owner is super knowledgeable and very helpful. Great shop, I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others as well.
