Love this place. A downtown sushi shop is what this town had been needing and they haven’t disappointed. Love the sushi burrito out of this world and all their ramens are phenomenal. Highly recommended. Owner is also always there which is a a huge plus when it comes to quality and service
Decided to stop by after driving by the place a few months before and am very glad I did! The restaurant has a very nice, homey atmosphere with some indoor and outdoor seating. The food was amazing; hands down the best tonkotsu ramen I've ever had! Generous serving of pork with a great flavor, and a hearty broth, too. Highly recommend!
Crowed place but lovely environment.
We ordered the veggie gyozas and some different rolls. Will be coming back to try the Ramen noodles.
Big fan of this place. As someone who spent a few weeks in Japan this year enjoying the best sushi on the planet, when I heard the owner of Twisted Chopstick JUST got back from a culinary trip to Japan….I had to see what he learned.
I requested two Omakase rolls (sushi chefs choice) pictured here.
I was immediately transported back to Japan!
The quality of the fish, dedication to the craft, and ingredient selection was remarkable.
If you love Japanese food, give this place a shot.
P.S. the Karage (Japanese fried chicken) was bomb as well

Anytime I can get an excuse to get Twisted for lunch I will! Had to meet a fellow employee to drop off some things, placed my order on UberEats for PU and was ready in 15min just as I was parking. So good! Front roll is the Mega Crunch Roll and back is the Omakse (Chefs Choice) both were awesome!
We took our daughter for her 15th bday Sushi fix & our food was yummy. After telling them all the ingredients we love , the Chef/owner Jeff did some custom surprise rolls for us that our family devoured. My family also loves the ramen dishes that my 12yo begs for all the time. Hands down the BEST RAMEN in Deland/OC/Debary area. We love The Twisted Chopstick food & their staff are always so friendly. If you’re looking for yummy sushi & ramen (bonus) don’t hesitate to give them a try. They also have very decent & fair pricing, which is a plus for a family.
Was in the area working and kept passing it by. The place is beautiful on the inside and outside. The young gentleman that waited on me was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I really enjoyed the Ramen soup and the Volcano roll.
I’m writing another negative review because the owner is a liar now. I don’t know if he’s unaware of the actual situation and is making the story up because he doesn’t know what happened or if he’s lying just to make his business look less shady. I definitely got charged for TWO miso soups and got ZERO miso soups. He’s claiming I got a miso soup for free but I was actually charged for two and refunded one but received zero. I know that sentence might be hard for you to understand because of your clear incompetence but simply it means that you charged me for something I never got. I normally wouldn’t care given that it’s just $2 but the fact that you lied about it is why I’m still here. I’m also not sure if you can’t read or you just enjoy making your own story. I said that your employee served my friend a tea that had been sitting for three days and she admitted to thinking it was bad before giving it to us. Why she admitted it is beyond me but she did. I wasn’t complaining about not getting a tea because you were out of it like you said but that I was served a rotten tea. I would’ve much preferred if you told me you were out of tea rather than serving me rancid leftovers. I added two pictures to show what I was charged. The $31.94 is the food that we received then there’s the miso soups added at the bottom that we never got. The second picture is the only transaction shown on my bank statement. Thanks for the totally genuine offer to come back but I think I’m ok.

I’ve been trying to tell her how much she overrates this restaurant for years now and I think she’s finally going to agree with me. Thank you so much for adding the final straw that broke her unwarranted loyalty to your mediocre restaurant so now I can take her somewhere to get some actual good quality sushi.
