We came back to the shop again! Still delicious as ever! I get the same flavors every time I go. This is probably the fourth visit here! I always get the Smurf, and if I'm feeling it, I get the garbage can ice cream or a coffee one. I don't remember the name of that one, but it has caramel chunks that are covered with chocolate, caramel swirl, and a coffee flavor to it. I thoroughly love all flavors, but I love these specifically. The morning of the day I was going to the twist, I had read some pretty bad experiences, and I've never had that problem. Especially attitude. The workers there have great attitudes every time I go. The ice cream never melted instantly, even in high temps or humidity. I also never had a problem with the wait. It was extremely quick, and they even tried to match my sisters and I's color changing spoons with the color of our ice cream!
The atmosphere is as great as always. I can definitely say no bad complaints from me!
Was not impressed with this place at all. The banana split was just ok. The strawberry topping isn't real strawberries in juice, but a thick, sweet glaze like pie filling. The brownie for the brownie sundae was awful. It was just a piece of fudge basically. I expected better from the reviews. Maybe the hand dipped flavors in cones make up for the bad banana split and brownie sundae.
Cute, outdoor spot for ice cream on a hot, vacay day in Navarre! Hidden just behind TC’s Front Porch off the main strip, this spot has delicious hand dipped ice cream and an assortment of cone choices. I had their Mississippi mud flavor in a dipped waffle cone. It was delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well - quick, kind service. Was recommended to us and would recommend to anyone else!
Visited every night while on vacation. Absolutely the nicest people working in there. Lots of different ice cream flavors to choose from and everything we had tasted great! Highly recommend.

My wife and I had decided to go to The Twist because it is close to our house. We go out for ice cream about twice a week. It was a weekday and there was no line I went up and looked at what they had to offer. I wanted to try two different flavors so I asked if I could please have a sample of each, I was told we don’t do samples. Since I was not familiar with their ice cream or their flavors, we decided to go to a regular ice cream shoppe that evening. I would not recommend the twist due to rudeness and the attitude of the server. We spent our $15 at one of their competitors so they lost all the way around and I would suggest they change their attitude. I would understand if they were busy and there’s a line that was not the case.
Ice cream place is hidden off the road. Lots of choices for hard and soft severed ice cream. The prices are deceiving. Cone choice drives prices up. 2 medium soft serves with waffle cones and sprinkles was just over $18 bucks. Ok place for ice cream.
We've been coming here for a few years now and have loved seeing their growth and progress. However, I was a little disappointed this last time we went when I asked to sample the non-dairy option, I was told they don’t do samples. Being Non-dairy is new for me and I really didn't want to spend the money if it wasn’t good. Thankfully it was ok, but I may just go down the road to the new place that lets you sample their flavors and has more dairy free options. Didn’t want to give less stars, because we really have enjoyed them over the years, just disappointed is all.
