Can’t fault the service, very good from start to finish, however……. Batter on both Fish and sausages was so doughy, and so much of it! The texture of the batter was almost the same as a donut, not good. Photos are just some of the removed batter, there was equally as much on everyone else’s plate. Good points, the actual cod was very nice,
bad points, chips, just about cooked, I personally like my chips a little more crispy than these were.
Battered sausage were not good, too much batter and sausage a little flavourless.
I think if they had the batter a better consistency, more crispy, less of it, and cooked the chips for longer it would have made a nicer meal.
Have been a regular for 3 years. The food and service have not faltered since day 1. Absolutely fantastic. Ishmael the owner and his son Hasan are only too keen to provide you with a good choice on the menu at good value for money. My No.1 go to for fish and chips and the delicious kebabs. Well done gentleman. ????
I am a regular customer, and this place is honestly excellent! The staff are really good and polite and the food quality is fantastic! Most of the time I order Fish and Chips and they are delicious, sometimes I buy the chicken burger with the chips and their chicken sandwiches are top notch.
One of the staff have excellent skills in wrapping the food box up in paper.

This was our first order from Trident we ordered through an app and the food came on time and piping hot. The food looked and smelt amazing the large cod barely fitted on my plate. The food was delicious and highly recommend to anyone to give them a try.
Best fish I have had in a long time, amazing what can be achieved in a small place. First time in this establishment, highly recommend, will be back.
Delightful family run business. Excellent fish in a very good batter. Chips OK without being exceptional. Freshly cooked kebabs as a popular alternative. Kitchen area spotless. Generous portions. Good variety of extras (we enjoyed garlic mushrooms and onion rings with homemade tartar sauce). My sister was very impressed by the cheesy chips. Cardboard box and a piece of lemon provided for fish; chips wrapped in paper. Mayonnaise and other sauces given in decent individual-sized tubs.
My Favorite fish & chip shop in Swindon town. Family run business, very humble and always smiling. They do glueten free batter as well on certain days of the week.
If you're looking for a banging local fish n chips, this is the place! Been going here for the past 18 months and had my last Gluten free fish and chips here before moving away and I'm gonna miss it, it'll be hard to top this place! Friendly people, great chats, awesome atmosphere, quick service, you get your money's worth, and obviously it's absolutely delicious food every time ???? 11/10 would highly recommend!
