My family and I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday dinner at The Travellers Rest, and I must say it was nothing short of exceptional. The restaurant offered a range of great options that catered to diverse tastes, making it a delightful experience for my group.

Was able to watch the Newcastle match in the week. Then we enjoyed a beautiful Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price ???? pub also had a lovely atmosphere ????

Friendly atmosphere, always a good laugh and service with a smile and normally a lot of good laughs and banter. I've been going for 30yrs (not always for beer as I'm only 41 lol) started going to play pool with my mates as a young kid and I still go there now and always will. Its like a family run pub, I've known the landlady all her life and her mam (who used to run it when I was younger) great place I highly recommend the traveller's rest in Choppington 100%. 5 star. They also do lovely food, I love my Sunday dinner from there with the whole family
The best pub in North East of England. The reasons are easy, the quality of the beer is the best I've ever experienced. The staff are very friendly as are the patrons. Atmosphere is fantastic.
Classic feel good pub. Absolute hoot. They offer all the favourites on tap and in bottles and provide live music entertainment and sky sports.
