Awesome place with great people. I took my 2015 Suburban to them as I had no history on the transmission and knowing that the 6l80 was known for some failures. I had them do a full rebuild but also upgrading to the Sonnax level 2 package. The difference is amazing. Shifts smoother than it ever did. Great work from a local, honest family business.
The transmission in my 2017 Silverado had been having issues for a long time. The few fixes I did on my own were simple bandages. Ultimately the transmission still needed to be replaced so I sent it to The Transmission Shop, they called and told me basically what I already knew and that was I needed a full rebuild. They told me the price and I felt it was fair, they told me they were a few weeks out and I kinda expected that as well. Unfortunately I’m not the only one who had transmission issues so expected them to have people ahead of me. I got the truck back sooner than I expected to. IT HAS NEVER SHIFTED THIS SMOOTH AND I MEAN NEVER It didn’t even shift like this the day I drove it off the lot. I’m am MORE than satisfied with the outcome. If I ever need transmission work again I will go back here for sure.
Awesome place! Extremely friendly staff, and very experienced mechanics. I took my 2012 Accord 6-6 to them, it needed a new clutch and a flywheel. They got it done within one day of working on it, and it drove brand new. Couldn't have been any bit happier. Their labor prices are very competitive, and they work with you.
Having lived in this town for 60 years, and, an in town mechanic myself, it's easy to claim you're a "reputable." In a small town, people talk. If you don't take care of your customers, everyone will know about it. I've known Phil, Doug, and Scott since day one. Not just anyone can repair transmissions, especially late model ones. Had my cobras transmission rebuilt here and it came out awesome they have a very friendly staff and doug is very nice and helpful overall im very happy.
First off when you call you are greeted by a fantastic girl named Sam. She is so pleasant and polite when you are explaining the issue and then making the appointment. This place is a hidden gem and they really know transmissions. They are an honest bunch of people with excellent service and prices. If you need transmission service then this is the place to go.

The people here are awesome and really know their stuff. Sam in the office does a great job of keeping in contact and making sure you know what is happening with your vehicle. The guys in the shop make you feel like you're someone they've know for years and really treat you, and your vehicle, with respect. This was my first time coming here but if need be down the road this is a place I trust.
