My brother in law had heard about this place but never been. We went together and it did not disappoint. Our server was very patient and did an excellent job recommending what we should try. We were lucky to go during Chili season, and it was awesome. We did breakfast for everything else, and all was spot on. My only regret was not trying their blueberry pancakes. I saw an order pass by, and they were huge! My stomach was too full by then to try anything else. I will definitely be going back to try more from their menu. I want to see what some of their lunch items taste like.
We recently visited The Townhouse Restaurant in Oviedo and were really impressed. It's a great spot with a clean and comfortable vibe, perfect for a relaxed meal, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and they can accommodate fairly large groups.
The service was excellent. Our server, Rihanna, was super attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Refills on the sodas were free.
The food was delicious! While they offer a wide variety of Greek dishes, including my fantastic Traditional Greek Gyro (the meat was juicy and not dry at all!), there are also many other alternatives on the menu. My wife loved her Greek Village Omelette, but they also have plenty of non-Greek options to choose from. Plus, the fries were on point – crispy and fresh-tasting, not greasy.
Overall, The Townhouse Restaurant is a solid choice for casual dining in Oviedo. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Plus, it seems like it could accommodate larger groups with its spacious seating options. No matter your taste, they likely have something for you! I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
The food here is great. French fries were crunchy and delicous. It is what you expect from a Greek restaurant. The pancakes are huge and everything is cooked how you expect it. I see no problems back of house.
This restaurant suffers from a big red flag in the hospitality business for the front of house. There is no host or manager upfront for a busy Sunday brunch service. I would probably never return based on waiting over an hour for a table and being passed over several times despite being #1 in queue for 20 minutes. The only reason we even sat is because we complained and had to make things work. You have 3 servers seating tables which is a terrible idea. You should respect your servers and kitchen staff by filling the front of house roles on a weekend.
All the staff members that we interacted with were absolutely fabulous. Everyone was extremely polite, competent, and attentive. Food was really good. The portions are massive lol. I had the chicken fried chicken with home fries and extra gravy. My daughter had the chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Both were fantastic. I highly recommend this place. It can get busy, but honestly with good food and service I can see why.
We visited this place, my sister and I for the first time today and the atmosphere and establishment as a whole was very nice and quaint and bright. We ordered pancakes. I ordered the blueberry she ordered the original stack and the food was pretty darn good! However, The service that we received from our server, Meredith unfortunately, was a miss. The only time she stopped to check on us was after she brought our drinks to the table which was water, coffee and the recommended Karen mimosa, which my sister really enjoyed. The cooks brought our food and when we saw the size of the pancakes we couldn’t believe how gigantic they were. They were really good. It wasn’t until we completed our meal, and she picked up our empty plates, did she even ask us about the food, but the question came only after I informed her that she never came to check on us. Even after that, she never apologized she just stated that she did ask us about the drinks but that was it. Overall, the restaurant itself was very nice, but if I did return I would not want to be waited on by her.
I recently visited the Oviedo Townhouse and ordered the fried chicken dinner special. I was STARVING, and this did NOT disappoint! The chicken was so juicy, and the collards were just amazing!!!! Sarah was also amazing and so sweet. I left with a very happy belly. :) I’ll definitely be back.
I had a wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with the warmest welcome and made me feel right at home.
One of the highlights of this restaurant was definitely their patio area. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful weather and savor the delicious food.
Speaking of the food, let me tell you about the baby beef liver dish I had. It was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a tender, juicy interior. The flavors were well-balanced and the dish was served with a delicious gravy smooth mashed potatoes and broccoli that complemented the liver dish perfectly.
But what really made the meal stand out was the friendly and attentive staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and were always there to assist me whenever I needed anything.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its great patio, delicious food, and outstanding staff. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
An absolute gem of a restaurant - great food, gigantic portions, and great service. Very welcoming, warm atmosphere. They have great nightly dinner specials - Meatloaf Mondays, Fried Chicken dinner on Tuesdays, but my favorite meal is definitely the Chicken Parmageddon sandwich. It's fantastic.
