Cracking little place, decent sandwiches and fresher baked pasties and great selection of a little bit it everything. Stocks of some locally brews ales and huge range of sweets/snacks. Has become bony regular go to shop, with some fresh produce outside on a cart. Top place, Top shop.
Go out of my way to be able to call at this shop. Great barmcakes and home-made soup. This week I got spicy tomato soup, which was excellent. Would recommend.
Not a very nice breakfast barm, sausage and bacon cooked and warmed up over and over again, and put the wrong sauce on, use to be a ok years ago.
Left my grandsons pasty in the shop by mistake. The gentleman actually caught me up in his van as I was walking home. What a nice thing to do. Great service.
Lovely shop with quality produce and the staff are always so friendly!
Too cramped these days , find a gap and fill it with something to sell. Food isn’t what it used to be and the staff are hit n miss

I have only ever popped in here to use the Hermes return system that is available in store. Therefore I cant comment on any of the other products.
Unfortunately I don't think I would go back for anything else. Not because of anything anyone did but just because of how small and cramped it is inside.
While the shop has a certain charm that you want from a small village shop, it just feels like someone has had to keep adding more and more stuff just to keep up with the times. As a result you feel like everything is on top of you almost. Combined with numerous signs or notices stuck here there and everywhere it becomes very messy and intimidating.
The best way to describe it is to imagine an old western saloon and that moment when everyone stares at a new comer. I am sure this would fade over time with frequent visits but it was enough to make me uncomfortable.
Waited 30 mins for a cup of soup ,total disorganisation and customer service
