No need to spend lots of money for good food and a comfortable atmosphere by going to Aspen. The Tipsy Trout is the place. Had a great elk burger and sweet potato fries. Cooked to a medium perfection. Had good live music on the Thursday night that we dined. Dogs were welcomed in the bar area.
Great $19 fish tacos with black beans, but requires using knife and fork because single flour tortillas break apart. Excellent generous portion 3 pieces of batter fried fish and chips for $23. Very good burger. Nice atmosphere. Good service for our large party of 10 on a Friday night. Fair prices if you think of it as resort pricing.
Nice on the river spot for Happy Hour, Lunch or Dinner. Gather with friends or visitors and enjoy the view. Funky kinda place with eclectic decorations, indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of spots at the bar. A good variety of menu options and service is friendly. We always stop in here when in the area.
This place is fantastic - the deck is the main attraction, but the food and drink is pretty good too. The trout special never disappoints when combined with the view and the subtle white noise of the frying pan river.
The Trout dish is Amazing….forgot the pics…next time. Short Rib Sammy was amazing for C biscuit as well! Ice cold drafts on the back porch overlooking the Frying Pan river. Must do in Basalt! Will be back for the Summer 2024!

Stopped here for lunch with my 1 1/2 year old while the hubs was fishing. I had the fish tacos...delicious... and a grilled cheese for the little one! Great atmosphere, great food and our server Christina was spectacular!
