Interesting estate style pub but a little off the main route and bridge into Berwick. Friendly enough but only had two beers on and both were macro beers (John Smiths' and Belhaven Best).
Was busy when we visited but not to the point where there was nowhere to sit, we went out into the beer garden which was showing football.
Local family atmosphere and didn't feel not welcome, despite the 3 dogs
Great little pub on border think I'm biased though as my sister sings here regularly. But saying that nice atmosphere and great landlady

Found The Thatch by accident and called in for a quick pint, great little pub with fantastic atmosphere, landlady and locals very friendly, will definitely call in for more than one when back in the area ????????????
