Great place! Friendly staff and dog friendly. It's a lovely modern place by in a fab location by the water. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The food was absolutely delicious and I'm very picky. Coffee was good too. I wish them lots of luck. I'll definitely be back again.
Thamesmead's hidden gem, well worth the travel. I had the chicken flatbread it was spectacular, the coffee was lovely too. Thamesmead Social is newly reopened and refurbished with an airy modern style. I was made to feel extremely welcome by the staff. The food was served promptly and was perfectly cooked and presented. Thamesmead Social is open seven days a week and now serves a Sunday roast (be sure to book) Thamesmead Social also has just got a liquor license. Thanks for a great experience I can't wait to come back for a Sunday Roast.
So So pleased that these guys have opened. We visit quite often, the food is delicious and super affordable. I find the staff to be really friendly and efficient. I suspect the bad reviews on here may be because they were trialling new staff as I have nothing but great experiences. Give it a go and support local! My daughter loves the view of the lake and the swans too.
Loving the new cafe restaurant in Thamesmead. It's exactly what it needs! Looking forward to the time it's open in the evenings.
We went over the weekend for the Sunday roast. While the portions were only just right (ie we had space for pudding) , the flavours were excellent.
The vegetables were perfection though the potatoes could've have more time crisping up. The fact everything looks like it's made on site is a massive plus for the place.
The decor is going to be a changing thing with new artwork from local artists changing regularly. The plants and table foliage soften the brutalist interiors and make it a more welcome space than its predecessor.
