Everything you would expect from a Coney island..chili lacked flavor. The cheese had no real taste, fries needed more salt.. burger meat and grilled onions are good...
Gem of a place that would fit in with the great slider huts in NJ. Tiny building, takeout only these days. So very inexpensive, but so, so good (and likely really bad for you). In addition to sliders -- I recommend getting doubles, limiting roll intake -- they make a delicious coney, and the onion rings are actual onions and so, very tasty. They do get busy, but the woman taking orders was so sweet, and they work so hard in the kitchen. The smells, oh man, I can still smell the deliciousness.
This place is the standard. When people were arguing in the past about what the standard with which all others could be judged. People used a reference point. A universal example from which all others could be judged.
That is this place for sliders and greasy spoons.
Every single menu item is the standard that one should judge the food offerings at other places.
Are some better? Yeah in part, but there is none better in whole.
This place is the last slice of Americana served hot, with onions, pickles and fries on the side.
First time visiting,
I found out by one of the cashiers very nice lady that they've been in business, at the same location right on the corner of 11 Mile and John R Road a long time
if I'm not mistaken either she said 40 to 60 years they've been there very nice clean location.
You walk in it's a small open way, where they take your order.
your not in contact with the inside of the restaurant, that's what I like.
a little small hub sht with the food is immaculate and I tried it for the first time maybe about 2 weeks ago you guys did a great job I Love The Way They smash their burger and saute there onions.
11 Mile and John R and Madison Heights sits right on the corner .

Been coming here my whole life. And so has my mom. And my grandparents were coming since it was built! Best sliders ever!
Best burgers since my grandpa used to come here 30+ years ago! He used to love one of the waitresses and would sit at the counter with his coffee for a couple of hours every day! Best burgers, simplistic to the point menu, great prices post-covid, rocking service ! Homemade pies are pretty darn good, too!
Small and cute burger joint. Been going here forever. Sliders are amazing per usual. Great prices and open year round and the staff are the sweetest people. Will keep coming back forever fs.
Warning: Addictive sliders ahead. Get burgers, dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, & pies 24/7. Good milkshakes too. You know, life's basic necessities! In 20+ years they have never messed up a single order from me. FYI, The Telway is no longer "cash only". The now accept credit and debit cards for payment. They are, however, carry out only for now. If you plan on eating in your vehicle bring some paper plates. Your vehicle will appreciate you for that!
