Fantastic spot by the Canal just off the Aqueduct. Big garden for outdoor drinks and dining. Spacious bar area with various pub games. Friendly staff. Clean toilets and baby hanging facilities. Very welcoming staff accommodated 5 of us and a baby and a dog. Service with a smile. Food served good hours didn't catch what hours exactly but we were served the full menu at 4/4:30 pm. Great home cooked food. Definitely recommend
Visited here to meet up with my sister for my birthday. Lovely food and very friendly staff. All meals were excellent. Lovely outdoor area with fabulous views. First time here but would certainly return
Great setting friendly staff nice drinks and food looked nice coming out of the kitchen .
Whilst I appreciate there is a Que.. around 20+ minute wait for 2 bowls of chips and for what we paid would have been nice for a larger portion.
Thank you ???? nice chips anyway
£16.50 for a beer coke and 2 chips…..
A quaint pub in a perfect location when viewing the aqueduct (especially when paying for parking all day).
The food is lovely with very big servings for the price (done the right way).
Plenty of seating outside, however, these are standard picnic benches and some disabled may struggle to get in and out.
The Telford is one of those pubs from another age, which are hard to find nowadays ,Sarah has done a tremendous job of providing great pub food at reasonable prices, these trendy pubs should take note.
The steak pie alone should be awarded world heritage status as she explained the cooking process to me.
An awful lot of work goes into the preparation of the fare and I would not hesitate to revisit.
Best wishes to Sarah and to her staff.
Great welcoming staff. Great food. Good prices. Clean and tidy. Great atmosphere. Parking available. Disabled toilets. Well behaved Dog friendly. Outside seating area. Games room. Function room.
Thanks, guys. Keep up the great work.
A really nice visit at lunch time on a Saturday. Staff were really friendly and cheerful with lovely, helpful interaction. The interior has been modified for social distancing reasons but there is plenty of seating available. We were met at the door and shown out seats. All staff were wearing masks. There was one ale on 'Farmer's choice' which was very nice. We all chose sandwiches or wraps which came with crisps and salad and was served quite quickly.
The pub is situated in a beautiful location next to the aqueduct and a great starting point for a lovely walk. There were plenty of people and dog walkers.
We were not planning to go here. But the food was very tasty. Very reasonable in price. Very convenient for people who are visiting the Telford aqueduct . We had 2 greyhounds who loved the carpets.
