Monday evening, April 2024. We went here for dinner at 5:30pm. There was no waiting for a table. A full bar menu was available. Monday is all-you-can-eat fish fry so 3 of us ordered that. We received 4 stripes of cod with waffle fries and cold slaw. The fish was hot and crispy while still tender and flaky inside. I really liked the waffle fries but the cold slaw was on the dry side. The portion was large enough that none of us asked for a second order of fish. My son got the meatloaf and he really enjoyed it. It was firm without excessive filler and smothered with fried onion strips. We got 2 desserts to share, the Banana Spice Cake and the Red Velvet Cheesecake. Both were very high quality but the cheesecake came with mint chocolate chip ice cream which did not complement the cheesecake. I would ask for vanilla ice cream next time.
Came for the breakfast buffet on Sunday around 11:30ish. All the food was fresh and delicious, the pancakes were some of the best I have had in a long time. Even though we were there for the buffet, our server Marissa was very attentive, and even some of the other staff would swing by and make sure we were always being taken care of… my guest and I stayed and chatted for a WHILE! We ordered drinks and not only were they pretty but they were very yummy as well. This is a great spot to catch up with friends and eat tasty food. If I had to right something to critique, I would have to say the booth cushions are not as squishy as they look, I kept plopping down thinking they were soft, but still not something to deter me from coming here again.
It is a good place for team gathering, watching sports, social meetings etc. Various kind of drinks ???????? are served here. A drink named '3 long island' ????️ was the topic of our discussion - it is made of 5 alcoholic drinks and with some tea fusion. It is strong as well people said. They also have coffee ☕ and water. They serve fixed dinner menu for larger groups with 1 vegetarian (farmers market ???? pizza) and 3 non-veg dishes (burger ???? etc) . For desert they have variety of cakes ???? and portions are big. Lot free ???? parking ????️ spots are available. They have lit of pics of baseball ⚾ team, players. Also one portion is sports bar. They have a washroom as well. Thanks ????
Warm atmosphere that lends wellnto conversations. Good mixture of food options with a build your own burger that is well put together. Was in for an early dinner about 5pm was seated right away. Drinks came out well. Food was out quickly about 10 min. I had a Cuban, the pork was excellent. The coleslaw was a bit dry but tasted good. We asked that Dessert was delayed for 10 min with no problems, banana spice cake was excellent as well. Meals were well priced. Will definitely go back again.
First I do have to say the dinning area and the patio are beautiful. When you first come in the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming.
The menu has lots of options and I usually do the build my own burger. However I always order my burger patty to be cooked medium. Sometimes it comes out a perfect medium, sometimes it comes out well done and sometimes it comes out so raw the patty is falling apart.
Also when it comes to paying your tab make sure you double check and look for mistakes. On a previous visit I was charged twice for all my drinks and on my most recent visit I had someone else’s drinks on my tab that I never ordered. I later found out it was the drinks for the table next to us.
Overall I’m really disappointed because I feel like the Tavern has so much potential and their menu looks amazing. They just lack on the execution and make too many mistakes on the service side. I’ll be the first to admit that mistakes happen from time to time and we are all human but I have either had the worst luck here or it simply is just that bad.

I ordered food at 11:45 am while leaving work for lunch. 15 minutes away, they told me 20 minutes on the phone , leaving about 5 minutes five or take a few. I waited an additional 15 minutes while there. I get my burger that I specifically ordered with “no bacon” and the burger has bacon on it. Now realizing I’m going to be late getting back to work, I’m visibly upset as I walk back into the restaurant but not rude. I told the young host and she took my food to the kitchen. They supposedly made me another burger. I was already late so I just took it and drive off. When I got to work I realized the burger is missing a strip of cheese as if they just pulled the bacon off my burger. Eating pork is against my religion and they completely just undermined that. I’m highly disappointed my bill was $55+ for 2 stopping for lunch and I couldn’t even eat what I paid for. If I could give 0 stars I WOULD
We had a great dinner at Tavern. I enjoyed the Buffalo chicken salad. It was a perfect mix of deliciousness. My friends had great meals as well. I am looking forward to coming back again! Nice happy hour specials and a great experience.
The food is good and always good service. We had the parmesan fries (although there isn't really parm), seared tuna and salmon.
