Someone I drove an hour and 20 minutes to get my forearm tattoo at The Tattoo Company in Chico. The best experience I have had with any tattoo shop and I have numerous tattoos. Abby did my ink and she was amazing. Her and her fellow artists all had an amazing attitude and the atmosphere was great. Not the typical pompous tattoo shop situation I have experienced in the past. If your in Northern California you will not be disappointed! I will absolutely be going back!
I can't recommend this place enough. This weekend, I had the pleasure of collaborating with Jay (owner), who is a very talented artist. Jay's studio is a great atmosphere to catch a vibe, very professional, clean facility, on time, and very personable with his clientele. Jay has proven to be a very ambitious & assiduous artist displaying an unwavering commitment to whichever project he undertakes.
I went in today to get a small piece on my ankle from Abbi and she did an amazing job! Super sweet and was able to get me in quickly. The tattoo turned out so crisp and clean, very happy with it! Would totally recommend her!
Won a certificate from ZROCK (thanks Zrock!) and walked in on a whim today and walked out with a beautiful tattoo! Jay was very attentive and took his time making sure it was what I wanted and it came out beyond my expectations! Very reasonably priced as well, cool shop!

My experiences at The Amber Rose have been exceedingly great, every single visit. Their clean and well maintained parlor is full of interesting things to look at or do while waiting - including a big smart TV, several classic arcade game cabinets, and plugs for keeping your devices charged. It is also conveniently located for any downtown activity (directly across the street from Madison Bear Garden).
All of the staff are just as knowledgeable and professional as they are friendly. Jay and Charles in particular have both tattooed me, and I will forever recommend them for the artisanship as well as their dedication to getting you EXACTLY what you want. To top it all off, they're so careful and light-handed, it feels like little more than a tickle on your skin. Do yourself a favor and stop your search - you've found the place.

If your into the smaller more personal experience than this is definitely the place. Would recommend highly!!
