Great food and friendly staff! The samosas were huge and delicious, buttery lovely naan, and all our dishes were tasty. Would recommend ????
If you love Indian food, The Taj is a must try.
This place has won us over with its impeccable cleanliness, flavorful dishes, great pricing, and super kind hospitality of its staff. We've dined there twice now, and each time, we've stuck to the classics like butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and chicken vindaloo – all of which were fantastic!
But what really surprised us were the lesser-known dishes we discovered – malai kofta(my new favorite!), tandoori chicken, fish pakora(another new favorite!!), and karahi paneer. They were like hidden gems on the menu, bursting with flavor and utterly delicious. And let's not forget the garlic naan, mango lassi, and those mouthwatering samosas!
Oh, and don't even get me started on the chutneys, sauces, and the dessert counter – everything is so delicious!
It's safe to say that if you're not dining at The Taj, you're truly missing out on unforgettable Indian food.

Love this place! Their buffet during the week is delicious. Affordable food, friendly service, and great variety. The rice is so fragrant. And the restaurant is clean. Hot tea is my favorite. I am now a regular here for dine in and take out.
Went in today for the lunch buffet, and it was fantastic. Each item I had (basically every item) was well seasoned, tasty, and fresh. The new layout is really nice too. Sodas, teas, and fresh naan are included in the price of the buffet, so great value. Definitely will be going back!
I think I just got food poisoning from this place yesterday. And I have been here so many times. The lady at the register definitely doesn't like me, I just have no idea why. Don't remember doing anything, I am black and my husband is white. That's the only thing I can think of. We tip well too. Definitely not going back.
Amazing food, gesture, hospitality and so welcoming . I am vegetarian and my son is a hindu non-vegetarian, and this restaurant covered both. Definitely I recommend and will go to this same restaurant next time if I get a chance to visit Yuba City.
Been there many times. Always a stop for us going to Paradise. Service was slow and food was okayish this time. Will give them benefit of doubt. Service needs to be faster and buffet shud be full
