Been wanting to get down here for a while and finally managed to get in today. Lovely setup and service. The food was absolutely lovely and just great atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back. Thanks
A birthday walk and celebration for a friend, everyone's food looked fabulous, although two of us had fish n chips, the fish was overcooked and dry, such a shame, bad choice on our part, but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their, steak, burgers and halloumi. Service was very good and staff were very attentive.

We booked a table for 5 for my daughter's Masters results, and arrived to find the place almost full. However what we didn't realise was they were having a quiz night.
We were asked if we would like to join, But politely declined.
After 5 mins the Landlord approached us and asked if we would prefer to go upstairs to the restaurant. It was closed, but he opened it up just for us and provided a waitress for us.

Visited with friends for a birthday meal. The staff were all really friendly, food was great - cocktails even better. Had goats cheese to start then duck leg for mains which were delicious and lime cheesecake for dessert. Had a great time and would recommend to anyone
Lovely local gastro pub. We have been here on a few separate occasions now and always had a good experience with great food and lovely welcoming staff.
One note is that dogs are welcome inside but is still clean. otherwise a great place to get some food.
After reading the reviews, myself and a group of friends attended for a Sunday lunch , and we can honestly say that the meal was delicious and the service was incredible and the young lady "Holly" done a excellent job looking after us

Great little pub nicely decorated. Very tasty menu reasonably priced and a good selection of beers, staff were helpful and attentive. It's also dog friendly which is helpful after a walk on the beach..
