Best KPortal Reviews

1st time here. My husband and I joined friends for dinner. The staff is very friendly. We had a new waiter, Tyler, and when he got behind on his tables, his co-workers stepped in to help. A shout to Rachel for making me a lavender Martini ????. 7 days a week from 4-6, they have a happy hour menu, so we got the .50 cent wings ????. They also have 2 types of sliders on the happy hour menu as well. We all liked our food. I got the classic burger, my husband had the chicken potpie, my friend got fish and chips while her boyfriend got the mushroom soup and Boston steak tips. We had a great time. The place filled up by the time we left. When we walked out, there was a couple dancing to the music at the bar. They looked like they were having a great time.
Food was excellent! Service was slow. It took an exceptionally long time for our server to come to our table after we were seated. Then it took a long time to get our food. The people who sat behind us were seated after us and were finished their meal before we received ours. Our order consisted of a salad, a sandwich, and fries. This was, however, our first time there, so I'm hoping it was just an off-day, and I'll definitely give them another try. The food was outstanding.
Ok, so let me preface this review by saying we were driving through and it was the first place looked cool! And it definitely is... loving dogs is a bonus in my book! The food is very good, but I just wanted to enjoy a diet coke and they couldn't get the co2 working. (Not the end of the world, but I can't drink alcohol, so that's my treat). My only issue. The staff was amazing. So very sweet and accommodating!
New to the area and have been enjoying trying all the "new to us" places. So far the Stray Dog has been our favorite! Awsome fun outside bar with live music on the weekends. The bartenders here are excellent... shout out to Shane! The food is delicious as well. I recommend their burgers, wings, or brick chicken. You really can't go wrong with anything here. The inside is nice as well, it's set up like an old Irish pub with many rooms and dark wood floors and a wood bar. It's such an injustice that this place has a 3.8 star rating because that is simply just not the case. 5 stars from me!
I came here because I saw the new vegetarian menu they recently added and I was not disappointed! The vegetarian Gouda Mac & Cheese was delicious, I devoured it. My family also enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie and Vegetarian Gnocchi. The bread that came with the Gnocchi was fresh and plump! The French Fries reminded me of McDonald fries without the salt (this is a compliment!!). Our waitress Lisa was wonderful. She was attentive, patient, and friendly. She gave us our space but always made sure we were content. We also loved how warm it was inside!
The Stray Dog Tavern truly impressed me with their amazing chicken! The flavors were delightful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. It's definitely a must-try dish at the tavern! The ambiance and service were also excellent, making it a great overall dining experience. Highly recommended!
Was there on Saturday when the waitress stated that she was assaulted by the manager. The waitress said she had to go and apologized. We did not leave a tip and paid by a credit card which staff charged us an additional $20 for a tip. Disgusting. You know what you did and you condone violence in the workplace. Shame on you. Don’t go here. Other nicer places.
I had the brick chicken, the portion was really small for the price. Wife had the crab cake she really liked it. The wife’s cocktail she had was not made correctly. They have a kids menu but don’t have any. The medium burger was black. The place seemed outdated and the bathrooms were crazy dirty. Would i go back for spending $150 with a family of 4, No.
