Best KPortal Reviews
If you’re looking for high quality food, this place is not it. I don’t do reviews unless I really don’t want you to make the same mistake we did. My husband had ribs and they were full of hard rocks of fatty gristle. I had the catfish which was just ok. They serve the salads with whole baby carrots on top and then the entrees come with steamed whole baby carrots. Reminded me of cafeteria style food. Service was great though, perhaps have a cocktail and hit the road.
Very warm and inviting place. Friendly service very hospitable and courteous. The food was amazing I got the ribs and they were delicious fall off the bone just like they should be perfect. Everything else we got was really good. The prices were very reasonable.
The Stone Lodge is amazing! Rustic lodge atmosphere combined with excellent food! The best burgers around and you have to try the bacon-wrapped grilled shrimp appetizer!
The food is amazing! I got the BBQ Mac and cheese because I saw a couple of good reviews about it, and it's truly delicious! The bread was fresh and tasty. Everything was great and a fabulous service from Cheryl. Thanks! We will come back
I love this place. They make best chocolate martinis. All the food here is wonderful. The atmosphere is really nice. I love the stone fireplaces that are lit during the winter. They have the beautiful Christmas trees up. It’s just a nice feeling in there.
For Vegetariens Too: I drove by this place and it didn't look the places I would normally go, but who knows, I googled it and found out that you can replace the burger meat with an "impossible burger" patty. Also, I am a meat eater, I wanted to test-eat for my vegetarian girlfriend and chose the "Forest Mushroom Burger."
It was amazing. The buns were toasted crisp and branded SL. The salad leaves and tomato slice were fresh, and the 3 slices portobello perfectly hand-dipped, crisp, and tasty. I added a little catchup and mayonnaise and took a bite, just AMAZING!
I did not miss or taste that there was no meat. The impossible burger patty was grilled, and the whole composition was above excellence.
So, THANK YOU for making life easier with vegetarian friends. We meat eaters grand get what we want and still sit together in the restaurant with our vegetarian friends and relatives.
AND the pricing is right, I paid $12 for this amazing burger.
It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. Food was good. 2 big appetizers, 2 dinners & 2 drinks(non alcoholic). Bill was $52. Well worth it! Inside has a cozy warm atmosphere.
Walleye was incredible! BBQ chicken mac and cheese was incredible! Service was good, and the mint mojito was deeeelish!
Updating review as we have now gone here twice on our family Labor Day trip!
Yet again the food was amazing! I had Jalapeño Bacon Mac and Cheese, my son had waited a year for their BBQ Chicken Mac and Cheese, my dad got the Portabello Mushroom Chicken Dish, and my youngest got the kid's meal mac and cheese which was NOT some cheap way out like Kraft. It was made in house and even that was incredible.
Out server was Samantha and she was cute as a button, very sweet, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for a thing and she was on top of all refills. They were short staffed as everyone else is these days but other than a small wait to be greeted the first time you'd never have known it. She was awesome and we will be stopping by here every year!
