Stopped here for lunch while out of town. Fairly quick service. Seemed clean. Food was good. I got a chicken salad and my boyfriend got a Reuben. Also had the crab dip and that was delicious. The chips that came with the dip were top notch.
I rarely leave Google reviews. I just had to leave 5 star rating. This is a nice, clean and well price restaurant for swainboro. The waitress was super friendly and knew the menu well. The food didn’t take too long to get to us. I got the the simply chicken. It was delicious and juicy. I definitely would recommend and will be coming back!
My buddy and I both ordered a cup of crab stew & a Philly steak hogie, per suggestion from one of the owners. Both were delicious, we had a wonderful server also.
The co-owner Brad sat and visited with us a couple of times.
Erica was our server. She did an excellent job and knew her menu. I had the calamari and bowl of crab stew both were both excellent. The owner came by the table and was very cordial. It was a great evening and I am so glad we chose the Stockyard restaurant to celebrate my 70th birthday.
We just had the most amazing experience and our server, Tiffany, was friendly and checked on us regularly! Our drinks were never empty. The atmosphere was quiet. All food choices were spot on. The food was exceptionally delicious with reasonable prices. Definitely a repeat whenever we are back in town!
While the meals may seem pricey, you couldn’t put a price tag on that great flavor. The staff is friendly and place is clean. Highly recommend!!
Waited 2 hours for food. Only got 1 of my 2 appetizers and then they tried to charge me for both. The bar tender was very nice but doesn't make up for the 45 minutes I waited between drinks. 2 long islands and 1 appetizer in a 2 hour wait and they told us they hadn't even started cooking our food. I paid 70 dollars for 1 appetizers and 2 drinks. Very disappointed in the place wanted to like it so much but the people beside us who came in an hour later they us got their food and they said they hadn't even started ours. Don't bother going on a weekend if you want to eat. Food is excellent if you can ever get it. Pretty nice spot to drink if you want to watch other people ear or have 4 hours to spare.
BEST crab stew ever!! The calamari is great too! My only downfall is if the cook is going to come out & introduce himself & ask how someone’s meal is then visit every table not just the ones who order full meals. Not to complain but I’ve been a restaurant manager & it is GREAT when the manager & even cook comes out & makes their rounds to enquire of the customers’ dining experience. But don’t pick & choose just because someone only came in & wanted to order just a couple of appetizers or one menu item. Both visits my dining was anywhere from $48 to $65 I left a nice tip but because we only ordered small we were overlooked as being greeted. The cook made rounds to every table, twice, but never once acknowledged us & we were setting right in his walking distance from the kitchen. Same cook both visits. First visit we ordered calamari, sushi, salads, 2 teas. Second visit calamari, sushi, 2 crab stew bowls, 2 teas. It doesn’t matter if someone comes in & orders just an appetizer or even just a drink. Acknowledge everyone. Being courteous goes a long way, especially in the restaurant business. Other than that this is a great place! Great atmosphere too!
