I had the best ale I've tasted in this place and probably the 2nd and 3rd best too.
The blokes running it seem nice chaps. There's usually food vans outside and there's plenty of seating.
Luckily for me I'm not local or I'd be spending all my money in there.
Great local, dog friendly pub with fabulous Landlord, Landlady and staff.
Great drinks prices especially having just been to The Cornish Arms and paid £11.95 for a glass of wine ????
Saved money every round we bought which was a lot ???????? Nice selection of spiced rum, my drink of choice.
All the punters were so friendly too which is always a bonus. Went in for a couple and ended up having way more. Tried to get a taxi back to our campsite with no success but the Landlord ended up dropping us back and wouldn’t take a penny from us. Above and beyond in my opinion. Can’t wait to return when we’re in the area.
First time visit seemed freindly and good atmosphere.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, Claire was a great host and all the staff were so friendly, clearly they are very happy in their jobs. We were also made to feel very welcome by the locals. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.
Best pub in town ???? Top staff really friendly and make you feel welcome. They hold a lot of top gigs so plenty of entertainment ????. Food is amazing and very well priced as is there drink . A really big shout out to Claire the land lady and Martin the landlord. If you're in the area please pop in and check this place out ! You won't be disappointed. ????????????
Food is brilliant really good portion size. Prompt service, and very roomy . They don't do gluten free menu but not sure about any other dietary needs.
Lovely pub and very friendly staff. Cheap drinks and a lovely atmosphere. Best roast in Tavistock. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely relaxed atmosphere during week but no food. Weekends normally have at least 1 live band/singer with roast dinner on offer for Sunday, make sure you book in advance!
