Best KPortal Reviews

Nice little hometown joint. Pictured is the $25.99 Ribeye special (steak, twice baked potatoe, roll and salad) less the side salad.
I hate giving anyone a 1 star review as maybe there were special circumstances that we aren’t aware of so I’m giving 2. My son and I came for lunch from out of town. We always try to support non-chain restaurants so we planned to come here because of the 4.7 star review.
The greeting we received was, there is no waitress, you have to serve yourself and order here at the pick up window. No biggie, we didn’t mind. We found a menu, made a decision, placed our order and the guy then tells us that he has 5 people to serve ahead of us and it’s going to take 30 - 40 minutes to get to making our order which was a cheeseburger, a cowboy (a hamburger with onions and peppers in a tortilla, I think), chips, and tots. The vibe we got is that he didn’t want us there, so we left and when we come back it won’t be to The Spot.
A positive, the bathroom was clean. Which I appreciate.
Wonderful place to eat, excellent staff, and great food at a wonderful price!!
The place had a weird smell when you walked in like a dirty wet rug. The ice machine needs to be cleaned the ice had a mildew taste. The food was horrible. Not worth the price at all. Small portion of fish for a sandwich. The kitchen looked disgusting thru the window. The hood was dirty had plastic tapped from the hood to the deep fryer all across the back side. Will not go back

Had a very delicious breakfast at Kay’s. The bacon was thick and gravy well seasoned, couldn’t eat both biscuits just too full. Coffee was hot and plentiful. We were just traveling through Elkton and spotted the restaurant, glad we stopped. Thanks for the great breakfast, hope to try lunch soon.
Real home cooked southern breakfast. In my opinion, very inexpensive for such large portions. The ladies working there are just so friendly. Tip them well!
I loved it, lots of laughs, a funny hilarious server that was aimed to please. The ribeye was mouth watering, would prefer Pepsi over coke.
The Ribeye Steak and Baked was "SPOT" on. My wife and son had catfish and my daughter had chicken strips. Well let me say there wasn't anything but crumbs left.
