Super gross. Carpeted dining room and the smoke from outside sticks to it. A customer had to help me find the door because no employee was helpful since it seems like they are remodeling Asked to sit outside because of my dog and the server told me she refused to serve me if I sat outside. Mind you, it was a lovely evening. Not friendly. Food took 30 min for the basic nachos. Dead and creepy, and not in a good way.
The food has made me and my family sick more than once! It is dingy and disgusting! With one server( the only good thing about the place) and an old cook who can only do one order at a time, the wait is not worth the time or money for low quality food and disgusting atmosphere. Oh and there hours are unstable. Skip this place if you don't want food poisoning!
Had a 20 minute wait for a table although there were many empty tables. I can only assume there was a staffing issue. Ordered drinks one of which was a Mimosa. Other drinks came but Mimosa took longer. We ordered and saw that the two tables who arrived after us got their food first. My husband hadn't yet gotten a coffee refill. I got up to question all of this. Coffee was then brought from a pot that was almost empty. We were told that they had just made some fresh in the back. Of course, we didn't get that. Most of our food then came out (lukewarm). We were told the chicken Caesar salad comes from another place. Finally all food was delivered and consumed. I forgot to mention that when we got the coffee refill and when our food was delivered, we were given excuses why the other tables got their order first. The funniest part was the second reason given blamed the Mimosa taking longer.
I ordered a cheeseburger to go. It was actually pretty good however for the price, I would have expected it to have lettuce, tomato, & onion instead of just the 3 lonely pickle slices. I was really craving a burger, but probably won't eat there again for that reason.
Amazing service, great food, cozy miner town bar. I was so impressed about this place and the food that they put out!
Cracking up over the earlier review about the cook chasing them out into the street after waiting a ridiculous amount of time. Same thing happened to us. First of all, the restaurant is filthy. A dog ran around the dining room and ate off the floor. The womens bathroom was out of soap. We waited about an hour and a half for a salad, a sandwich, and onion rings. It was getting dark and we had to drive back to Denver so we told them we had to leave and paid for our drinks. We were accosted in the street by the cook who threatened to call the cops on us if we left and said we were dining and dashing. Pretty sure you have to dine to be able to dine and dash. Anyway, the food taking forever probably saved us intestinal troubles because the woman next to us had some sort of inedible slop that was still on her plate when she left. Stay away. Terrible place with terrible service and an insane cook. The bartender was nice and trying her best.
Best selection of food, in this town... Cheaper than driving to Woodland... I've had the 'Slopper' 'Fungi Burger' and now the 'SIDE DOOR Bacon Burger'. All of which are great choices if you like irresponsibly-sloppy burgers. Mine was perfect medium-rare too!
Dirtiest carpets I've seen in a restaurant. Food ok if you want to wait an hour seen more people cancel their orders and go next door then wait for their food. Staff doesn't care about the costumers or how long they have to wait. Menu looks good about the only positive would not return.
