Update came back 5/27/24 @ 1:00. Went from really good drinks and food to really horrible worst drinks we've ever had, and when we talked about it was told just add Pepsi to it. Went from thick seemly homemade juicy patties to thin previously frozen dry patties. The Pastrami was a huge think slab before and is now this cheap lunch meat you'd get at Walmart.
My wife and I come here at least a couple times a month. Drinks are very good and the food is amazing. Best burgers, I've ever had.
Just enjoyed an impromptu lunch at this local shack. I am not certain what folks are talking about, but the service was outstanding! Everyone was so nice and personable. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I had the clam chowder which was actually quite nice. My partner had a meat lovers pizza. Both food choices are SOLID. We will definitely be back
Disappointing food, told that the fries had nothing extra on them, however they did have a batter/crispy added. The fish basket was a decent amount, but overall the batter was saturated and tasted like frozen cod pieces. The last straw was the local shrimp could not be ordered and eaten at the restaurant, it was only for to go orders. Should have left when we couldn't get the shrimp.
Local friends that took me were also disappointed about the experience.
First time on Whidbey Island, needed a seafood lunch and saw the other good reviews so we stopped in. It was great! Staff was awesome, we ordered the 3 tacos to share, and "magicly" received 4 so we each got 2. The fried clams were outstanding, delicious and tender, not at all chewy and the Fish and Chips were some of the best we've ever had. The tarter sauce is the best I've ever had, I could have eaten it with a spoon... definitely worth stopping in!
We placed a fairly large order shortly before their closing and the team came through for us. Everything was cooked to perfection! We had amazing beer battered fish and chips, incredible onion rings and a ton of other fried goodness. The staff was super cheerful and friendly, even 10 minutes before their closing time. We will gladly be returning here every time we are in the area.
Amazingly friendly and fast service when we went! Ordered the fish and chips and was delighted at how fresh it was.
The setting is so cozy and also very close to the ferry so you can see the line as you’re waiting for your ride back to the mainland. Would definitely come back again
Food was good, kinda quiet. Beat the lunch crowd today. Fish tacos needed some help taste wise, but there was more fish in the fish tacos than you usually get at most restaurants. The fish burger was stupendously delis and I had to take one for the team and help my wife finish it off. Onion rings were also quite tasty and I cound not finish them as my gut gauge read FULL! Marvelous place for lunch now I gotta find some place to walk off the extra calories.
Good Sunday night supper at Cozy’s. I enjoyed my fish and chips, and my husband was happy with his chicken Cesar salad. Good cocktails and beers on tap, too. We shall return! Thanks, Cozy’s!
