We stumbled upon The Should of Mutton during one of our wanders. The hosts, are truly remarkable, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. The regulars are a friendly and welcoming bunch, adding to the overall charm of the place. Plus, the food here is tasty and offers excellent value for your money. Without a doubt, We will be returning customers for sure!
We called to book a table, the staff were very professional and kind and offered us a table to arrive ASAP. The service was fast, the food freshly cooked, flavourful. We had 3 different pizzas, the best pizza we've ever had in Corby. My mum had the chicken burger she said it was the best she had in ages. Fish and chips dish was amazing too. Would definitely recommend, you can tell the staff there are making an effort so the customers are satisfied.
Nice pub, lovely pizza oven (but only available on Sundays) Food was nice, good size portions.. little bit slow when bring out the food as there was 5 min wait between main course brought out, so not all together.. has a small beer garden at the rear.. the amstel larger could be colder.. has a pool table and small outdoor area.. clean and tidy pub
Really nice pub that is Weldon's best kept secret! The staff and regulars are friendly and welcoming. And the food is really good value for money! I will definitely be coming back!
Very friendly atmosphere. There is a rather good local selection of beers and the food is good. I was only in the country for three days and found this gem.
Great pub, friendly hosts and the best pizza ever.
We had a pizza takeaway and whilst we waited for it to be made we sat outside with a drink quite pleasant. The pizzas we had were fab better than any restaurant they were real italian home made pizzas very tasty.
There was no menu to choose food from, the person behind the bar reeled off a list of burgers and only burgers we could have. The food was nice but nothing extraordinary. After being told we can sit anywhere, we elected to sit in the room behind the bar as it was empty so we could enjoy our anniversary lunch in peace. While waiting for our food we where asked to move so some young lads could use the pool table....... very unprofessional. I would never even think about asking already seated guests to move. Then the bar person came through and turned the music chanel on the TV again we just wanted a nice peaceful anniversary lunch. Over all food was OK, service was beyond terrible.
